Pretty amazing stuff from De Minaur and Thompson. Jordan was just so solid and smart with his tennis today, the use of his net game at the right times have really improved.

Alex is impressive just given the lack of match form. Now one of them is in the quarters. Sweet.

No reason why De Minaur could not win this.

If he plays like he did in those last 2 sets, there is no reason he can't. Just need to push his opponent corner to corner forcing errors.

The only thing that worries me about de Minaur is whether he’s completely fit/recovered from that injury. Clearly Evans went off the boil towards the end of that match which helped Alex. A great opportunity for him here though for sure
