He has 20% of the talent and skill? I wouldn't say it's a professionalism issue. This is what a decent but limited player reaching their peak looks like.

There's obviously a skills gap, that should be obvious to anyone, Djokovic has won 24 Grand Slams.

But even yesterday, Djokovic wasn't playing that great but somehow managed to find a way to win the big points. But you may say it comes down to weapons and skills, but like I said he wasn't at his best, and a lot tennis comes down to mental.

Alex gets himself in good positions, but deep in GS when he needs to work out how to win clutch points... he comes up short... and long.

It's not that, he lacks power.

True. I don't think anyone doubts Djokovic's mental game and sheer bloody mindedness to win clutch points/situations has been up there with the greatest we've ever seen. It obviously required incredible training and discipline, so is a foggy area to link with talent and skill. But I do think it also falls under that category and ADM has limitations across the board.

Djokervic is one of the world's greatest athletes ever and has power , a serve and no weakness in his game.

Good job Alex.

Like I said, Felix will give you a look. He's done so throughout this match. Let's see if ADM can keep the momentum going.

Well he's won this set. Just needs to win the last one. Easy!

Alex had an easy return on second serve, then an easy forehand on the open court... That had nothing to do with power and all to do with execution and staying in the moment. Missed both.

I think Alex is heading to his first every GS semi. Felix is looking fatigued to me.

He could practice less, spend much more time in the gym, and put some weight on.
It all sounds easy on paper. I can't remember many tennis players with his attributes and talent level transforming their game to match it with the heavyweights. Usually we'd probably just see them floating around at rank 40-60 though. ADM is very consistent, but his ceiling is never going to raise that much IMO. Maybe others more knowledgable than me can point to examples where such a shift has happened to a player mid-career.

You're allowed to make unforced errors. He just doesn't win enough easy points imo.

Watch Sinner he rarely makes unforced errors. You shouldn't be making them when they're realitively very easy forehands for a top 10 player.

You can gain pace on your serve with the right regime. If he wants to win a grand slam he needs to try something different.
