I maintain that Murray's weapons were at a much higher level than ADM during his early 20s. He was clearly a top level player.

Verdasco if you can back it up with what you saw on court, fair enough. How many slams did it net him?
Murray and other players have bulked up as much as you can do as a tennis player and it's DeMinatour's only option .

Probably the worst and most disappointing performance of his career, given FAA really didn't play that well and this was a genuine shot at making a semi (compared to his matches against vastly superior players)
He played the best he could to his limitations. Felix had too much power for poor old custard arns.

Alex will do what Alex does but I agree. He'd have taken the step up by now if he was going to. No Aussie is going to get near Sinner/Alcaraz levels over the next decade. I hope at least a couple of others (any nationality) can though.
Had a look at the mens junior ranking we don't much coming through Cruz Hewit the highest rank junior

Andreeva my pick for this year

I was about to congratulate you for your prediction until I realised you had tipped Andreeva and not Anisimova. I'd been following Anisimova's journey for the past week thinking this was your tip. Each time she won, I was silently applauding you. I thought now was a good time to go back and quote your post, but I was left disappointed after realising I had confused your prediction with another player's surname that begins and ends with the same two letters.

A bit of trivia for you guys.

I just had a look at the head to head record between Sabalenka & Osaka because that's now my tip for the Final with Swiatek losing.

They've only met once before and that was at the 2018 US Open (Osaka's first Grand Slam triumph). Osaka beat Sabalenka in the fourth round. Osaka only lost one set that tournament and the set she lost was in that fourth round match against Sabalenka.

Osaka was very dominant that tournament. No one else came remotely close to taking a set off her.
