Here is PART 4

Donald Trump was sworn in as president of the United States on Monday 20th January, 2025 in Washington DC.

The Assassination of Charlie Kirk

Take Note

Anti-trans commentary and nastiness will be deleted and warnings issued.

If the Trump Administration found a cure for cancer the Dem's would complain about all the unemployed oncologists.

If anything we are going to see cancer rates skyrocket in the coming years and decades due to the Trump administration gutting regulations

The Trump administration is quietly carrying out a plan that aims to kill hundreds of bans on highly toxic Pfas “forever chemicals” and other dangerous compounds in consumer goods.

The bans, largely at the state level, touch most facets of daily life, prohibiting everything from bisphenol in children’s products to mercury in personal care products to Pfas in food packaging and clothing.

If successful, the public would almost certainly be exposed to much higher levels of chemicals linked to a range of serious health issues such as cancer, hormone disruption, liver disease, birth defects, and reproductive system damage

Christ wasn't arguing with the Pharisees about whether the strict conditions of the Sabbath still applied. He was questioning their rigid/incorrect interpretation and pointing out that the Sabbath was intended to be a blessing to people not a burden after they questioned him (of all things) on whether he should be allowed to heal people on the Sabbath.

They sound like Democrats! If the Trump Administration found a cure for cancer the Dem's would complain about all the unemployed oncologists.
This sounds an awful lot like Jesus arguing whether the strict conditions of the Sabbath still applied, given the penalties outlined in the OT for acts such as gathering wood and food on the Sabbath, something which Jesus and his disciples were also judged for by the Pharisees (and where he argued if this applied).

I'll leave the nonsensical Dems/cancer quip alone, particularly odd given Trump administration actions.

Yeah. In 1867.

A mistake anyone could make really, including the current sitting US president :tearsofjoy:

Are you contractually obligated to run defense for dear leader on literally every brainfart or something? :drunk:
He’s pulling the piss and you fell for it like usual

That's a rather reductive (and largely inaccurate) representation of what 1984 is about.

Things like erasing the contributions of people of colour in the military:

And firing someone who didn't produce the figures he wanted:

Fair enough. This person produced knowingly false figures all the way through the Biden Residency!

I don't recall anywhere in the gospels describing Jesus or his disciples gathering wood or sticks. It's a fair stretch to say that plucking the ears of the grain would constitute gathering sticks. In any case as Jesus pointed out the priests worked in the temple on the Sabbath and were blameless under the law since they were involved in God's work, something Christ pointed out to the Pharisees his disciples were also involved with.

Cancers have already skyrocketed over the last four years due to climate change!
Thank God Kentucky passed legislation to ban chemtrails...

It is an example of how catering for basic necessities was judged on the Sabbath in the OT. My direct comparison related to gathering food. Jesus also made a general defence of the acts (which you alluded to), not related to an equivalence of his disciples to priests.

In any case, this clear change in conditions and penalties is several degrees from my original query/post which at least related to US politics.

Bit of a reach there Bourbons. 1984 is about the altering of history to feed the State's propaganda.
Dunno mate, that sounds pretty close to "aligning the institution’s content with President Donald Trump’s interpretation of American history" to me, considering the president we're talking about.

I mean lets be honest, he's the most propagandising president in US history.

Its quite the theme for the current admin.

Biden admin's efforts to stop kids breathing cancer-causing chemicals (there's a school close to the plant) in an area known as 'cancer alley' in Louisiana was DEI apparently :tearsofjoy:

Ahh but its all good coz Trump wheeled out a kid with cancer as as a prop for a speech once and Democrats didn't cheer, thats how you know they're the evil ones :drunk:

Haha

Wow yeah, an expertly crafted strategem there just to get us all thinking he's weapons grade moron. Well played Donnie, 4D chess at its finest :tearsofjoy:

He either didn't know Alaska was a US state or he has no idea where he's meeting Putin, mate. Granted it's probably the 2nd option, still fairly disqualifying I would have thought and MAGA would be having conniptions if Biden had said it, you know this.

"Now, if Bourbons were forced to look directly at the firelight, wouldn't his eyes be pained? Wouldn't he turn away and run back to those things which he normally perceived and understand them as more defined and clearer than the things now being brought to his attention".

Fairly unsurprising that this was the best response you could muster.

edit: haaaaaahahaha and you've literally got the quote from 1984 in your sig, how have I never noticed this before and how do you somehow keep getting funnier and more contradictory in your professed views. Like... I don't think it was intended as an instruction manual, which is the only way your shtick on here could possibly make sense :tearsofjoy:

If RFK Jr had stuck to fighting that and not throwing the baby out with the bathwater re vaccines and other lunacy he'd be half alright.

My specialist doctor agreed with me about micro/nano plastics being our generations cigarette health crisis, except much worse because there is no escape, only management. Nobody really appreciates how much we are drowning in it like they didn't know how bad smoking was in the first half of last century.

There is no contradiction here my friend

You know, I actually accept that you truly do believe that. Which makes it all the funnier :tearsofjoy:

You realise you've just described the current admin in the US that you support to a tee, yeah?

Tell me you realise that
Its uncanny how bad your dear leader's admin is on every issue or grievance you routinely wheel out :drunk:

I think the Guardian might have a slightly jaundiced view of what's really happening as far as PFAS is concerned. The Trump admin is allowing water utilities an extra 2 years to build treatment plants. The Biden proposals were rushed, unworkable and ill considered (according to AI searches).

This article looks at what it was going to cost.

On the issue of asbestos, the Guardian article is now out of date. BTW do you really think we're much better off in Australia with regard to action on PFAS?
