you can add this to stealing oil, shooting children, dropping bombs on schools, murdering women and children, invading countries illegally, lieing to the UN, bugging UN officials illegal, blackmail, bribery, betraying its own agents, lying in congress, lying to the press, going to war on a pretext, torturing women and children, illegally holding tens of thousands in concentration camps, illegal contracts to Haliburton, and employing mercenary death squads.

these are the guys that Birdy thinks are heroes.

getting to be more like the Nazi's with every passing day.

So what, they are only disgusting terrorist scum, not like they have any rights, anything to stop their murderous plans.

Sorry, thought I would get in before any of the bush apologists.

care to provide some evidence from decent sources from these?

You still havent produced any evidence of your 500k dead claim.

If you are genuinley asking for evidence of this then I will start calling you Helen Keller!

Hi Helen. Anyone ever told you that you have a great rack?

Sarcasm mantis?

What if they were people who looked like terrorists, or had funny names like umm say Yousseff Islam AKA Cat Stevens.

This reminds me of the tales I have read of where for ''investigative purposes'' only  Suspects were held feet first out of windows to provide information that only the fear of death can bring.

It also reminds me of the stories one heard from the Vietnam War where people were thrown out of helicopters and the rest of the onlookers then hurried over each other to give information

http://www.freezerbox.com/archive/article.asp?id=320

Iraqis wondering what the next phase of the Republicans' invasion of their country will bring should consider El Aguacate airstrip in Honduras. In 2001, 185 bodies were dug up there: the victims were the 'terrorists' and 'enemies of democracy' of the day. Most of the estimated 200,000 dead in America's covert war in Central America in the 1980s disappeared in the jungle. A few were thrown out of helicopters alive (a specialty of US-trained death squads from Argentina, brought to Honduras to assist in the noble struggle against communism

If there's a lesson to be learned from the 9/11 attacks, it should be that acts of evil carried out with a missionary zeal can lead to complete madness. A secret killing machine that combats terrorism is just such an operation: when the killing machine gets frustrated with the definite terrorists, as it surely will, it will turn to the easier targets: the families, the footsoldiers, the borderline suspects. It's easier to kill a hundred unguarded suspects than one guarded bona fide terrorist, and any operation needs to report positive results. If the body count looks good, the program is a success - even if you're not killing the right people.

Sounds like Vietnam.....Until they started counting their own bodies.

Give the yanks another 6 months, then the mums and dads will be sick of seeing their sons and daughters die in a fight, that most have no idea how it started.... In fact some are still asking "Who exaclty are we fighting?"....

Come on all of you big strong men,
Uncle Sam needs your help again.
He's got himself in a terrible jam
Way down yonder in Vietnam
So put down your books and pick up a gun,
We're gonna have a whole lotta fun.

And it's one, two, three,
What are we fighting for
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn,
Next stop is Vietnam;
And it's five, six, seven,
Open up the pearly gates,
Well there ain't no time to wonder why,
Whoopee! we're all gonna die.
Come on generals, let's move fast;
Your big chance has come at last.
Gotta go out and get those reds —
The only good commie is the one that's dead
You know that peace can only be won
When we've blown 'em all to kingdom come.
Come on Wall Street, don't move slow,
Why man, this is war au-go-go.
There's plenty good money to be made
Supplying the Army with the tools of the trade,
Just hope and pray that if they drop the bomb,
They drop it on the Viet Cong.
Come on mothers throughout the land,
Pack your boys off to Vietnam.
Come on fathers, don't hesitate,
Send your sons off before it's too late.
You can be the first one on your block
To have your boy come home in a box.

Note: As I have mentioned elsewhere I am guilty of leaving out the women in my early material so now I always sing the last verse like this:
Come on mothers throughout the land / And pack your boys off to Vietnam / Come on fathers, don't hesitate / and send your DAUGHTERS off before it's too late / And be the first one on your block to have your KIDS come home in a box.

Substitute Iraq for Vietnam.

Anyone who has an interest in US politics and the 'war on terror' knows about rendition by now, theres been publicised cases of Canadian, Australian, British citizens being rendered to middle eastern countries for torture.

The sad thing is that firstly the mainstream news arent interested in reporting it, and secondly no one seems to care. You think about all the major current affair programs on tv, and only SBS insight has reported on rendition, and with all due respect to SBS I wouldnt consider them mainstream news. Whats wrong with 7,9,10 and even the ABC.

Then you have the wider issue of 'U.S christian morality'. Biggest piece of propaganada since Nazi Germany. Giving peace/freedom with one hand, and torturing and murdering with the other. You can give benefit of the doubt to the US in exceptional circumstances, but in this case of rendition which I've researched for 5-6 months, theres 0 doubt, its blatent organised torture.
