The diablo name....well it came from this.....

I used to collect Pez dispensers. An avid collector in the US had a series of 'misfit' dispensers made - variations of standard Pez issues in funky colors.

The black skull above was a variation of the normal white skull from the halloween series. It's nickname was Diablo.

Here are all the different skull pez....

There was also a black faced witch, which was a variation of the normal halloween series witch, which was nicknamed Voodoo Mama.

My pez collecting 'girlfriend' used to call me Diablo, and I used to call her Voodoo Mama.

But then I stopped collecting Pez about 5 or 6 years ago, so the diablo name became redundant.

I only have 4 Pez dispensers left from my collection, and two of them are Diablos

I couldnt think of anything good at the time, and was impatient so just typed the first think that came into my mind next.

Im thinking of changing it but havn't thought of anything good... Probably a play on my current one.

We have risen so I am happy to change it!

Am a big fan of The Cat Empire as a group, and love Al Stewart's Year Of The Cat. Would have chosen one of those. It's off season and not sure if this is taboo, but is anyone else intrigued by some of our BF user names. Could be some interesting stories behind the choice of these names.

FWIW, as Candiehappy is aware, I 've always loved Volkswagons, we have 3 in our family, I aim to own a hot Kombi one day, and the initials of surname are v and w. The reason for the capital letters is when I started using computers, in 2008, invariably left the caps lock on. Hence VEEDUBS.

I was at the 07 GF, arm in arm with my son, and said to him "well, now I can die happy".

It's the end of 2011 - and now I can die even happier !!!

Maydok is a nickname I've had for a good 15 years which isn't terribly exciting.

What is quite funny is that I first joined BF under the name 'Reverse Banana'.

I thought I was paying homage to an act of mastery and originality from Gary Ablett Snr (I believe it was '93 vs Essendon when he first showed the footy world how to kick a right foot banana goal from a left forward pocket).

I later found out a reverse banana is also the name for a sexual position used by gay men.

Hence, no more Reverse Banana.

After all these years that is the first time I've read your name as "can die happy" as opposed to candy happy. Good english skills from me. Maybe thats why I never became a lawyer
