B: Cook, Parker, Dodd
HB: Thornton, Polak, Grover
C: Mundy, Hasleby, Black
HF: Headland, Pavlich, Schammer
F: Longmuir, McPharlin, Farmer
FOLL: Sandilands, Schofield, J.Carr
I/C (from): Crowley, Gilmore, Johnson, McManus, Medhurst, Murphy, Peake
IN: Crowley, Gilmore, McManus
OUT:

Who can say what the team that runs onto the field will look like.

Being a Sunday game it will become clearer when the WAFL teams linr up on Saturday.

I can hear the groans with Macca as inclusion.

For me i would drop medhurst and give Gilmore a run. We could really expose the dogs with height. That would be the only change.

Keep Peake he we need his pace.

Put Thornton on notice that iif he doesnt lift crowley in next week.

Flip a coin about 75 times alotting heads to "good freo" and tails to "bad freo". Then, after collecting all of your data about which tells you which side it landed on the most then disregard that and assume the bad freo will turn up :(

Peake, Murphy and Johnson are certainties to play, leaving Gilmore, Medhurst and Crowley fighting for the last spot.

I'd back Gilmore personally, but given he looks to have shagged CC's wife so can't get a game, maybe Medhurst will get another chance.

I'd say we'll try and expose the Bulldogs lack of height by playing Murphy/Johnson/Longmuir up forward. We can't be too tall though because we'll have to be able to run with the little shytes in the Bulldog forward line.

I would have thought you would have Pavlich, Polak & Longmuir as forwards. We'd go Harris - Pavlich, Rawlings - Longmuir, Bowden - Polak. Hargrave is a 190cm flanker and can take nearly anyone. Morris will get Farmer, McMahon - Medhurst.

We're not small in the backline any more but Mitch Hahn & Bob Murphy (both 186cm) are often our tallest forwards. Johnson, Robbins, Eagleton, Faulkner & Cooney are the others.

Pav up forward goes without saying. What I meant is that we've got more talls that could stretch your defence.
You wouldn't play more than 3 (+ 1 medium tall) up forward or we'll run it out too easily. The only time we score is when we run.

You don't want Gilbee and McMahon getting easy touches, their field kicking can hurt.

If we hold our marks it won't be a problem.

Sun is shining, gonna be a grand day for football....should be a ripper game.

I'd expect eade to go with Harris on Pavlich, may be a big mistake. I'd expect Pav to play his usual role at Subi across CHF & to run like hell, Harris won't have the legs to go with him...if Connolly stuffs up tactically & plays Pav in goalsquare Harris may have the edge.

Surprised to see Johnson dropped, I'd expect Murphy may be played in the backline again...which IMO is good. I reckon, Freo will roll the dice down back, playing Murphy & Mundy on talls, maybe resting ruckman & Bandy & throw McPharlin, Pavlich, Polak all forward, Farmer to play close to goal & Medhurst may still be 50/50 whether or not he plays, wouldn't surprise me if Gilmore comes in at the last moment.

With those talls up forward if we break even in the middle I can't see Freo losing. Then again...we are Freo.
