Mcinnerny is looking every bit the modern footballer, great skill set and pace.
mccartin excellent and I wasreally pleased for Clarke. Sinkers fought really hard in the ruck I love him.

Not drop, rest. Looked buggered last week, still would of given him a week off this week. Doesn't mean he's not an absolute gun and will always put in 100%

Fascinating player is Clarke can produce howlers but runs all day.

Once we all understand that then perhaps we can appreciate him more.
He is what he is & that is tougher than any fancy player that ran out for Melbourne tonight.

I would say Fox and/or Cunningham have done a better job in recent weeks. Or even Thurlow who defensively has been OK (not sure what else he brings though)

I agree, but COR was all of those things too. A quiet achiever and non-offender. At some point in the future, that mix of medium-sized defenders who like to rebound - Thurlow, Fox, COR - will all be vying for probably a single spot, McInerney won't be in the picture as he doesn't play defence.

I personally think Fox will win out, but either way the competition for spots is at least a refreshing change.

We function better with Clarke doing his thing, particularly now he is looking for the outlet ball sideways to spread or runners. He stays. Florent goes.
Wicks is pretty handy too. Hard to push him out as his speed and tackles are valuable.
Both are ahead of Florent now.

I don’t think so, I think you play it by ear, if the player feels good keep playing them, this management crap when there is nothing wrong with a player doesn’t work. He’s going to learn heaps more in the next few games than sitting on his a$$.

Fine 20 years ago when players ran a heck of a lot less IMO.
Not these days. And particularly not this year with short turn-arounds.
