OK, Well O'brien MUST be in next week for Corey. He was dinamic all day and kicked 6 great goals. Mensch - his typical self - booted his 4 goals, and McCarthy kicked 4 also.

It was a good feeling into the deep stage of time on in the 2nd quarter when all we had to do was kick one or two goals and we'd be 100 points up at half time!!

White, Ablett, Merriman, O'brien, Johnson & Mensch were pretty much the best players, but the whole team did their very bit, which showed on the scoreboard.

Sando played the 2nd half, and looked pretty good. HE did a few good spoils and contributed well in the 110 point win.

So all in all, a very good game by the Cats. Will unleash a MIGHTY CAT ATTACK in the finals!!

I'm pleased Danny O'Brien is back in form again. He showed a great deal of promise a couple of seasons ago but had a knee injury which wrecked his season last year. Maybe he can be just the spark we need injected into the side just before we play in the finals. (I hope!)

I'd have to say that O'brien has been in his best form of his career. If he was to get just one game, he could provide Geelong with the spark that they just need. He has been on of Geelong's best players in the VFL this year, and there must be something that is stopping him from a spot in the 1s, because surely by now he would've had a game. But anyway, he's playing great in a very good VFL team!!
