What a great win. Again we had contributors right across the park.

Wicks - I wondered before this year whether he can add more strings to his bow and he has. Fantastic performance.

Florent- particularly in the first half when the game was there to be won he was BOG along with Dawson. So composed and just works up and down the ground.

Mills - great second half, is just a hard worker and throws himself at it

Dawson - super game, was the difference early on. Getting the balance between defence and attack bang on. Stays in defence

Kennedy and Parker were both good.

Papley a great game.

Warner is a real find, exactly the type of player we needed.

Hewett did a cracking job of nullifying Martin.

Defenders all did well as a group.

We are right in the mix in 2021! I can’t believe it!

Sorry mate, MCG, hot day, too old, too slow;

27 disposals, 7 clearances, 7 inside 50s later.

Sure?

I’m going for Hewett as BOG.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY else has managed to take Dusty out of a game in recent times.

Those who still say Hewett is a B-grader, hang your head in shame.

Of the last 10 yrs where a team has gone from bottom dweller into top 8 contention, there's a 50% strike rate. 3-0 zip with upcoming winnable games. We're a big chance. I believe all those close / competitive losses of the last 2 yrs has prepped us for this. We are ready.

Added him to my commentary!
Great lockdown job.

Should figure highly in the coaches votes.

Yep, both Buddy and Rowbottom are going to be in the team against Essendon. Not fair on McLean but he will be dropped for Buddy, and I honestly have no idea who we are dropping for Rowbottom.

Blakey looked most likely coming into this game, but while his game wasn't perfect, it was pretty good, his chasing and effort was great and he just makes things happen... so I don't know? Could honestly make an argument for Campbell, which feels sacrilegious I know... or McInerney on a last in, first out basis.

Great problem to have! But definitely Blakey, McInerney, or (still feel s**t saying it) Campbell. Whoever it is will be stiff as anything.

If Buddy isn't right though that makes it easy - Blakey forward and McLean out.

This team doesn't know how to lose.
