I saw Heritage bat and his cover drives have not lost that magic tough of years gone by. Apparently he strikes them pretty well through square leg of a Saturday evening.
Rumour going around Collegians is that Nic Burrows is so hated by his own team mates that he has been asked by the club to leave, perhaps going to join best mate Trent Skurrie at Old Essendon.

I think the move would be beneficial to all.

The only batting Herro has done recently is in the privacy of his bedroom! :D

why is he disliked so much by his peers?

Mark Graham, with his impeccable connection to the old school, has signed with Old Xavs. I wonder how Brian Speaking will explain SKOB letting this one slip!

SKOB never in the hunt. Final decision was between Xavs and C Section club where his good mate plays. The lure of an opportunity for his son to experience a very good education sealed the deal.

I heard a rumour that a collegians fc player by the name James Jorgensen had been suspended by the leadership group and told not to return until he drops 5kgs. Similar to the Mark Cosgrove case.
Seems a bit harsh.

Will they take the same zero tolerance stance against Heritage if the rumours on this forum are true about him returning to the club weighing 120kgs?

I heard that Aaron Lord is also heading down to the Xav's next year, turning his back on his school team Old Ivanhoe.

Can you really blame him?

Who would want to travel to whoop whoop every Tues, Thurs & Sat?

As an old Xav, how in god's name do you know who Heritage is..?

Are you sure a Toorak Park boy..?

Yes, its is in fact true that Mark Graham has signed with OX. Unfortunately we were unable to match the financial offer that Xavs put to him. Silly bastard left a message on a SKOB committee members phone that OX were going to 'pay' for his sons education at Xavier for the next couple of years.
At least we finally have evidence that Xavs do offer incentives. Good luck to Mark though, he is a terrific fella. SKOB will move on and target someone in their mid twenties, not mid thrities as Mark will be next year.

SMG,

Given I am competent at reading and writing above high school level, it is not hard to read the rumours and inuendo about Heritage that are rife on this forum. Given his controversial past and exit from Old Essendon I was just interested if they would take the same hard line stance that they have taken on Jorgenson.

Not even going to bother answering your second question.

No point responding to this normally, but he told us that SKOB and Uni Blacks were the two he was keen on. Good luck to OX, lets move on.

Well said Brian

Any truth to the very strong word from Camberwell that a certain leading, though enigmatic full forward will be fronting for SKOB next year?

See you at training soon Brian

Heritage is in OK shape, a tad over 90kg, and considering there is 5kg in his nose, that is pretty lean. No need for a hard line stance.

Probably wouldn't have got a game down at OI anyway.

Yeah you're right DAG, OI would have managed 10-12 wins in the AFL this season. Much better list than the Tigers. :p

Could OI have used him to surgically remove John Stevens shorts after each game, or give Crowley a bowl cut before Motel every Saturday...?

And here we have prove that the jack and jills actually do mess with your head.

SMG - We all know that Stevens can not remove his shorts and that Crowley has signed a sponsorship deal with Budget Cuts for his weekly haircuts.

Apparently Old Ivanhoe will implement a 'Peroxide Blonde' through out its entire list in the hope of winning at least one game. Apparently they have no hope.

I'm currently picturing the brothers Gary & Gerry George running around in the curtain raiser with blonde tips through their luxuriant dark hair.

Wrong, just wrong.

Scribe2, is your phone not working? Trying to call you to discuss 'tactics'.

No Brian

Phone was lost in Fitroy st in the dark hours on Sunday morning. Two years of random chicks' numbers, rumours and witty comments have gone down the tube.

Anyway if Plapp plays for SKOB, my flatmate has plunged to new debths of "giving me nothing". They are very good mates so it would make sense though he gives little away. I was actually refering to Mr Gerstman, who I believe is heading to SKOB. I'm just trying to picture the Beaumaris backmen who would encounter a forward line consisting of Gerstman, Mckee, Plapp, Chard, Lucas et el.

I would be interested to know if anyone could come up with say, three degrees of seperation which links those well known Jesuits Mark Graham and Aaron Lord to Xavier College.

While I'm here, it seems that Scribe2's lovew child, Danny Jordan, will front up for Rupertswood, after a frustrating time in the WAFL(won the reserves B&F playing 7 games). Fair to say that Dan would be a handy D2 footballer.
