Was that after his breakup with long time partner David "Hard On" Hardy?

The last time i saw Hard On was at my concert at Festival Hall. He just loved it that little bit too much.

yeah i know his ex girlfriend. he is a great bloke

He is a great bloke. Im sure he is down there at South Warrandyte oval every weekend cheering the boys on. Shame he can't play anymore due to carpet laying related injuries. But the clubhouse's plush pile looks a treat. He has done a bang up job. Whats his ex-missus like? A bloke like him would have no drama pulling the lookers.

I've heard that about Hard On. He would have been screaming at the top of his lungs when "Tearin' Up My Heart" came on. Was he still with that reptile Dawson at that time

I heard that Dawson is "in lockdown" to go into the big brother house as an intruder?

Any truth?

Not that Im aware but it would not surprise me. He and his brother were spotted at the Australian Idol auditions down at Moonee Valley not long ago. I wasn't allowed to enter due to my existing contract but i think Lance and Joey may have popped down before training seeing that their solo careers unfortunately did not take off.

I heard Hard On was trying out for Man Power under the alias 'Rocky Mountain Mike'?

Can anybody confirm that former Old Essendon president and VAFA journeyman John Newbold last night signed as assistant coach of StBernard's????

Don't know what all of you have been talking about this week on the site but what I do know is that Caulfield face a winless St Bedes at home this week with the chance to make it two wins in a row.

The footy trip has been decided without your involvement Pineapple, we're going to Airlie Beach!

If you want vote on our progressive dinner poll go ahead, because I couldn't care less which letter is chosen!

Might be best if you plan that footy trip for the first week in September champ.

Again, more class opposition, this time from Aquinas on the weekend. Still a better effort than Glen Eira showed the previous round. Clubbies keep interchanging the winners mantle, with the 2nds looking like the better performers thus far. U19s had a break, handy after suffering the first drubbing a Fitzroy team has ever experience. Lucky we didn't just have them killed for the disgrace.

C/- http://www.vafa.com.au/results/
SENIORS - FITZROY REDS 22 26 158 v AQUINAS O C 7 3 45
RESERVES - FITZROY REDS 18 9 117 v AQUINAS O C 3 9 27
U19S - BYE
CLUB XVIII - OLD XAVERIANS (2) 10 8 68 v FITZROY REDS 6 6 42
CLUB XVIII 2NDS - FITZROY REDS (2) 16 14 110 v LA TROBE UNI 6 3 39

Reds & Old Carey still each 6 & 0, though Reds thumping teams more comprehensively. Prahran possibly looking like a threat, we play them this coming week in the Latte Cup.

Banyule and Bentleigh both doing what Banyules and Bentleigh's do best.

Looks like others have answered on my behalf. I also had assumed there was blue in the guernsey, but it was probably from the anagram aqua's in.

I'll be waving the flags at this weeks game between St Kevins and Trinity @ Righetti Oval. I'll keep an eye on young Matt, as well as fellow under 23 squad members Ryan Chard (St Kevs) and Kristian Butler (Trin) and let you know how they are going.

St Kevins were far too strong for the hapless Trinity, running out 50 point winners in perfect conditions at the Righetti. Under 23 squad member Ryan Chard was very good kicking 3 goals, while Matt Shannon spent a lot of time on the bench. Unfortunately Trinity's Kristian Butler had 5 goals kicked on him by Giansiracusa. This week I've got Old Xavs V St Bernards, so I'll report next week on the progress of Andrew Gill, Josh Madden & Chris Keunan (St Bernards) and Cameron Purss & Josh Agius (Old Xavs)

Old Xavs play Marcellin at Marcellin and St Bernards play SKOBS at the snake pit for round 7 (28th May).

Having seen the Collegians v StBernard's game last week, I can tell you that Madden was ordinary, spent a lot of time on the pine, Keunan was back to the form when he was a schoolboy and playing in the PEGS 3rd XVIII and as for Andrew Gill, I couldn't tell you if he played or not!

I feel that Tim Campbell from Old Essendon is very stiff not to be in the rep squad.

Wonder if an umpire can lose his accreditation for getting in the coaches way?

I remember a game once where we were getting smashed, both on the scoreboard and physically. 2 players had been stretchered off including the coaches son and whilst trying to give our 3qtr time address the umpire wont leave our coach alone and kept trying to talk to him and our coach looked like he was ready to explode

Of course the game was taped yet neither incident went to the tribunal and im sure the umpire was promoted bloody joke of a competition

Anyway, an umpire isnt allowed to approach the coach during the breaks is he?
