mr ff, b.j was never going to play. i notice hoges, macca and captain thingo have not commented on the water cooler gossip saying mr waite may not be a skob/afl player. in the end i suppose it comes down to how much the well heeled clubs down the coast put up.

i hope he does choose to play, um, f.t.l.o.t.g and not 4 to 5 grand a game wherever. he will attract interest which won’t be a bad thing for the v.a.f.a.

They obviously don’t learn, especially denegrating Waites character, seriously low but not unexpected.

It is very difficult to see SKOBS being beaten. Having witnessed first hand the impact a fit and firing Chad Jones had for Bernards in 2015 and 2018, and knowing how deep SKOBS bat elsewhere on their list, they are a raging favourite for the flag. Anything can happen of course, but early days, no other team comes close.

I can’t waite to see Jarrod strut his stuff. Awesome for the comp.
Sure SKOBAFL have ruffled a few feathers with the Waites, Schulz, Mitch Brown, Fisher, Gilham, Salopeks, Strauss, Jamar type players off the top of my head. But it’s certainly been great for the spectators.
A Man City premiership is still a premiership despite the talent they can bring in. Let’s enjoy Waite and move forward.

i thought you may have been ‘scatters’, mr bagman, but i’ve ruled a line through that after that post.

the story from mr hippster’s associates at trak is they are pleased with the list and they have picked-up a couple of laddies who will help with their weaknesses. two ruckman for example. mr satterley has some depth to work with for the first time in awhile. so do not underestimate them.

if the laddie waite does run around with skob/afl and isn’t injured v xavs i’ll give him 2 goals on the laddie noonan. possibly maybe 3 if a fluoro oddball plucks a free from his backside.

rumour has it xavs are so short to make the finals hippbet has suspended betting.

a brahton v xavs g.f. a collection from hippbet for me and a treat to look forward to.

What about the great plugger who sent jamar bracket to the scraps then on his way, is he going around again? If so they could have Sandilands on their list and he’d only be there to carry Anthony’s bag

I was not aware. His dad is a 200+ Bernards player. His brother plays magoos. Lot of connection. And club has assisted with a job after he has moved to Melbourne I believe. Good story all around. VAFA club and family history, with great assistance = can play FTLOTG.

Interesting to note the rule changes announced by the VAFA this week.

One of the changes will be that umpires will no longer hand out 25 meters but 50 metres penalties instead like in the AFL.
