Just pay players mums $60k to work in the canteen insteadI'm not attached to SKOBS in any way; I can guarantee that St Kev's College does NOT offer scholarships to budding footballers.
And some mob near Firbank…

Go and have a look at most VAFA clubs from old school sides, it is pretty much 70% + at a bare minimum of boys who went to that school. They dont need to do it, look at their teams, 95%+ ex BGS students, every training/game is like a out of school reunion, you'd be mad to wanna play anywhere else coming out of there.
True, but brahton are on another level. Played most of the year with 23 points I believe, unheard ofGo and have a look at most VAFA clubs from old school sides, it is pretty much 70% + at a bare minimum of boys who went to that school.

Collegians have 70-80% of senior players who went to Wesley College. That's pretty strong if you ask me, especially considering the school's lack of footballing success in the past decade and a half.Xavs and skobs almost exclusively school old boys...Collegians a bit of an exception with a larger number than most not from the school

This isn't Orwell's Animal Farm. All premierships are equal.Well, take out the mickey mouse covid 6 game season , xavs haven't won the APS for over 22 years, so they hardly have had much success and skevs haven't won for over a decade. Both of those teams manage to play with almost exclusively old boys. Wesley does have 1750 boys remember.

Not beating the allegations AM21lol..not a 6 game season...sorry .Before that it was 2003,so full credit to xavs for being so strong with exclusively school boys. Wesley has more boys at the school that Xavier.
It's about AFL Barwon I thinkarticle on local leader about a shake up in divisions in the vafa. Anyone have access?
Actually no it is an earth shattering story about reducing the season by two weeks (removing a bye) in Premier GradesIt's about AFL Barwon I think

The OB flag this year and the SKOB flag in 22 stand out as the purest form of VAFA footy. Not beating the allegations AM21

Remember OX’s best player is an outsider.
Ed Delany? He is the only one...being a bit harsh there.

I have to laugh at these sort of comments.lol..not a 6 game season...sorry .Before that it was 2003,so full credit to xavs for being so strong with exclusively school boys. Wesley has more boys at the school that Xavier.

OXWAFL have made two key signings but are withholding announcement until 2026.I have to laugh at these sort of comments.
It has been pretty well known for years that whilst Xavier and St Kevin's field 5 or 6 football sides playing across year 11 and 12 in the APS, Wesley barely musters up three sides at this level.
If you'd bothered to read my post in the 2025 Premier A section, you'd realise that it has been a monumental effort that has seen Collegians stay relevant in A grade for so long.
Meanwhile, on 2026 VAFA premier section news, I am surprised that there aren't more clubs announcing player signings! Surely Old Xavs have a couple tucked away ready to announce.
No need to tell the world, OXWAFL have a habit of stealing other clubs’ recruits!Stavrou is a schoolboy

laugh at my comments? Its a fact Wesley has more boys at the school that Xavier and boht xavs and skob have had limited, if any, success at school level for some time.I have to laugh at these sort of comments.

given the curriculum and general history of the schools, Wesley being alternative compared to Xavier and St Kevins, the number of boys is not a good indication of why they aren't as good Andoman/Briza.laugh at my comments?
