wat is this weapon you talk of knighta? and wat i wanna know is how is he able to wrap up so many men??? sounds like this dingoe character may be OE's FF with his undoubted ability to wrap guys up with that much ease! am i onto something knighta?

This thread has gone down the toilet. there is sweet f.a. talk about footy. When someone presents an opinion, their sexuality, rearing and upbringing are all questioned by people who disagree with it. Boys, instead of putting someone down, present logical and footy related reasons why you disagree!

All you are pointing out is your own inadequacies as a person, and your serious self esteem issues!

Very good effort mate, couple i would put a question mark on but most seem like they quiet deserve their spot, looks strong! La Trobe and Bentleigh guess are just even teams with no real stand outs. Well done mate, mine would pretty much be a copy!

Rocco S how stupid are you? you dont even play in back line! and if you really are from OI then you would know that at the end of the first half i came back to play on him. Good player though, agreed. But you have been busted mate big time!

latrobe will put up a fight tomorrow..even though it is a bit of a nothing game, i would be putting big money on them to upset Bentleigh tomorrow...fielding a much stronger side this week than the abysmal side they put forward against MHSOB.

I never though you could make me laugh Magee. I shall test out who you really are...there was a notable absentee from training thursday night, i want;
- name of the player missing (i'll give you a clue...it was a member of leadership group)
- reason for his absence.
AND
- members of the leadership group.

after this everyone shall see you as a fraud.

although i am flattered you dont think of me as a backman, i've been on the coaches back for weeks about playing up forward..

right, back to the footy...we expect a good solid hit-out tomoro against mentone. will be a big match as most of us boys have been playing against mentone since year 7 and they came off a great win last week. the weather looks to be good for footy and i for one, can't wait to line up at 2:00pm tomoro afternoon.

Obviously there will be some blokes for all teams who are stiff to miss out (as is the case with all star teams)

Some blokes from OI that MAY be in the mix;
Weston, Greer, Hondromatidis, Moncrieff.

But excellent team KR!
 
Just a general question; how did we (latrobe) beat mentonians by so much in rd 2? It was a 100 point whitewash and they looked absolutely woeful...have they brought players back from the seniors of late or something?

Ease up u gay inbread, ur wrong...its just a bit of friendly banter that brings some entertainment and humour to the grind of the work/uni day and to say otherwise makes u sound like an over-sensitive jughead. Its an open forum so I say let fly! Smudge my a$$

The Absence of the dog only lead OEG victors by 6 points... from sidelines game looked good trinity again using excuses such as we didn't have our full team well it doesn't matter as OE had also big outs so end of the day trinity tried their best and OE played like shit and beat them by 6 points...

On a final note.. Trinity Coaches, waterboy's and runners are all co*ksuckers! Would also like to add all looked well over the age of 30 and was disapointing to see grown men react like this... bunch of smokers...

I would appologise Rardo but Chuck Norris never appologises, I'm sorry but thats just the way I am. Also, the only time Chuck Norris has ever been wrong was when he thought he had made a mistake! But Chuck will take it on board Rardo when i anounce my team of the year...
 
Went down and watched OE v OT game on the weekend.
Although im not associated with either club i thought it was a great match and very entertaining.
Very physical and highly skilled performance on both teams behalf with OE just getting over the line only due to the tackling pressure applied in the second half.
There were a few standouts for both teams that i saw;

OE Best : (could be wrong with numbers)
Nick Bulhakow - #7 - Great sneak forward with blistering pace and extraordinary ability to know where the goals are. Also showed talent in presenting in the forward line.
David Benson - #17 - As everyone on this forum has already stated.. Best ruckman in the comp by a country mile. Hadnt ever seen him play before yesterday but now that i have, can see what the hype is about. Dominates the tap outs and also has a great sense for knowing where the goals are. Fantastic overhead mark.
Aaron Bell - #23 - Incredibly balanced, Always throws his body on the line and unbeleivable tackling ability. Also great around clearances..one to look out for OI.

OT Best :
Riley Mcdonald - #3. Fantastic overhead mark. Read the play better than anyone on the ground. For future teams playing Trinity, they generally kick it to him on kickouts as they split to both sides of the ground leaving him to have a clear break through the centre.
Dayne Coulsen-Hoffacker - #22. Blistering pace along the wing. Very frustrating for opposition as he seems to get the ball at every contest involved in. Had leather poisoning on the weekend and was by far the best for OT with colossal amount of skill and never ran out of legs.


P.s. Whoever it was that said OE were soft and they will get found out due to their cowardice style of football is terribly wrong. They showed that they had a bit of grunt in them on the weekend with several OT players being omitted from the ground due to hard hitting although OT hit hard aswell.

An interesting fact:

Has anyone else realised that in the coming round, the top 2 sides will play each other, all of which are undefeated, in U19 Div 1, 2 & 3.

Div 1: De La Salle (8-0) v St Bernards (8-0)
Div 2: St Bedes/Mentone (8-0) v Beaumaris (8-0)
Div 3: Old Essendon (8-0) v Old Ivanhoe (8-0)
