The strong will get stronger and the rest will fall away. Sounds familiar. Lots of poaching in 2021.

COVID has killed off a lot of moment.

Some strong women’s teams are propping up the men’s side of the club.

That’s interesting to hear about women’s sides propping up clubs in general! And I would believe you on this Max...

Are any clubs looking at having a vets/supers side this year given the vafa is moving to run this as well?

Bias is clearly against women in the round 1 provision of field umpires - disgraceful and about 24 hr notice. Clubs should be asking for money to cover the expenditure they had to outlay to hire club fieldies.

Agree
A positive is the VAFA today stating they will "Develop an Umpire Appointment Policy across April which will be shared with all clubs that addresses the current imbalance of women's football allocations "

Does that mean they didn't have a policy to start with?? We are biggest we are the best. Load of rubbish.

Not bothering creating a new thread for 2022, just rename this one. Hopefully we can get a bit more info and input next year.
Biggest issue facing the Women’s in 2022 is getting coaches.

It has become a very difficult job.

The difference in standard of players is getting greater creating greater issues for coaches.

Spot on. The varying levels of development of female players requires additional coaching resources. How many club are willing to invest?

The Women's senior coaches for Prem A will be more qualified than the Men Prem A Panel.

Again this will create a great divide amongst teams and divisions. What aspiring female player wouldnt want to learn under Dean Anderson versus a novice female coach.
