4 Octave, a truly rare talent.I mostly know his music from Audioslave, wasn't a big Soundgarden fan. Amazing vocal range.
Haha but also sad.Probably Freo's best coach to date. Vale
This was always one of my favourites.
The GOAT rock vocalist imo.
Rock In Peace
Don't forget Layne Staley, was a genuine genius. Unfortunately, horse was the drug of choice for many on the 90s greats and it's now becoming the cause their early demise. It helped make them what we loved so much, it has also help to kill them.I would put him on equal par with Scott Weiland to be honest..
Alongside Kurt Cobain, Weiland and Eddy Vedder, Cornell was part of the sound of a generation. A defining genre where grunge touched on bigger issues that other genres glossed over. His songs like Black Hole Sun and Like a Stone was about staring death in the eyes.
Rip
Yeh, Mike as well.Mike Patton.
Josh Homme is my favourite, and he almost died of MRSA in 2010. He is in that league too, and he dates back to the 90s as well.Yeh, Mike as well.
As long as we don't have to include Dave Grohl and the Greenday guy cos they write pop music for children.
