[Optimistic Dog]

Another ex-bulldog, John Bradbury, who played from the late 50's to early 60's also died late last week and was reported in the media but haven't seen anything about it by the club either.

I think remember him playing number 19 and a left foot kick.

Saw Dave Darcy when I was young. As mentioned he was a solid player with great kicking skills. A good looking rooster.

I have a vague memory of Dave Darcy being helped off the Western Oval, covered in blood, after having his front teeth knocked out.

Don't recall who we were playing. Does anyone else remember this. Maybe 1963 or 64.

I wasn't around when he played but he did wear #19 in the early 60's

AFL Tables lists him as wearing 37 in 1958 and 1960 and 19 in 1961 and 1963.
