I'll never forget 92 "Like a cork in the Ocean!"Absolute legend of the game.
What's your favourite Cometti-ism?
I heard a rumour that Lil' Wayne was inspired by Dennis when he used the line:
"Real Gs move in silence, like lasagna"
Can't stand Bruce but always enjoyed Dennis.Very sad. Loved listening to Dennis and Bruce

I thought he was terrific because he just called the game as he saw it, but made it entertaining for the listener. He never virtue signalled or carried on.Best footy commentator, RIP.
He was also very good with the Olympic swimming. Plus he did a bit of cricket, written analysis for the papers and sports news reading.
Never heard a bad word said about him.
He wasn't biased. People from all over Australia are saying how great he was. That proves it.I thought he was terrific because he just called the game as he saw it, but made it entertaining for the listener. He never virtue signalled or carried on.
****ing hell you genuinely mean thisHe never virtue signalled or carried on.
