A past champion of the club, Don Nicholls, has passed after a short illness. his career was cut short because of a badly treated ankle injury.

Got to spend a bit of time with him when he’d come up to the caravan park on the river at Nagambie.
Was a lovely man. Great company.

Before my time but I think injuries curtailed what might have been a strong career.

However his impact on our club was immense. The club thought that they had better have a look at his "little" brother, who turned out to be arguably the greatest player in the history of our great club.
