RIP is very apt- I think he had cancer. Will never be forgotten in the history of the Geelong Football Club and in the Geelong community.

A Geelong icon, of both city and particularly of the Football Club. The Cats were financially stuffed in the late 90's, but his stewardship, business acumen, and mighty power of personality was able to turn the wreckage into the brightest of stars in under a decade. We'll never forget your impact in giving us Cats fans the most enjoyable times of our lives following the footy, and vale indeed for a wonderful life that created so much for so many.
