Ah okay, didn't realize that. I wasn't aware he had been ill, I realize he had some financial problems in the past few years, but not health wise.
Hopefully he is now at peace.

Sad news. I remember watching Polly play for West Perth in the twilight of his career..was still a damn fine player even then.

He came down to North Beach juniors a fair bit as I recall as one of his boys played there. Really nice bloke. Not a scrap of arrogance in him.
