Horrible news, wish all you guys the best, know how I felt after what happened to McCartney in Bali and can only imagine what you are all feeling.

RIP.

Rest in Peace. Thoughts are with the family and the club during this time of tragedy.

It's such a strange feeling to think that they were on a holiday to recover and enjoy themselves, then this happens.

Shocked by this news and am devestated for his family and teammates. RIP.

My heartfelt condolences to his parents. They lost a son today and that's the worst news a parent can hear. Rest in peace.

Saw him play at Collingwood and always gave 110%...Condolences to all those who knew him and to PAFC and Collingwood...RIP

Terrible news for his family, friends, club and whole football community. It sure puts the important things in life into perspective.

I have asked a club contact about accepting flowers or donations. I will update all when I have news if this is something you wish to do.

The only way I can picture him is running around on the footy field, I'm normally completely un-phased by this kind of news but this is just too much.

Yeah.

Saw him wandering around and addressing us at the Captain's Club thing with REH earlier in the year and while he was an affable and humourous bloke, you tend to pour his entire identity into a Port polo or guernsey.

At the end of the day, we've lost a Port Adelaide person who we have a natural connection to by allegiance, but right now there are scores of his friends, relatives and everyday contacts who are dealing with the realisation they've lost a bright young man who they knew simply by who he was and not by what he did and should've had decades to come.

Just an appalling thing to happen.

I work with a bunch of Port supporters - they are shocked and terribly sad - we dont really get to know the players - but we feel like their our family - a death is too hard to think about.

A family have lost their 22 year old son, brother, nephew, grandson and cousin. This is the real tragedy, as a football supporter and specifically a Port Adelaide supporter I am shattered. But I feel nothing compared to what his family must be going through.

Too young.

RIP.

F*#k ME!

I landed in vegas about 4 hours ago and had not long walked past the flamingo when I was told what had happened. This is utterly terrible, terrible news.

It may seem a bit to early to bring this up but hopefully a memorial game wouldnt be out of the question between Port and Collingwood.

Both teams loved the bloke. Couldnt have met a nicer man.

Condolences to his family, girlfriend and friends and fellow Port supporters.
