Just finished the chapter in Cornes' book about the passing of J-Mac - beautiful stuff. Then looked at the date... crazy it's already been three years. His legacy will never be forgotten.

3 years today (it was September 10 Australian time that we discovered he was gone).

Can still remember that day very well, being at school and finding out the news. We miss you shitloads, J-Mac

3 years has flown.
I still have vivid memories of the emotion at the following Collingwood finals match and post match emotion from a group of his close mates.
I hope his family has found some peace.

Yes last night I remembered it was the anniversary of his passing - its the 9th in USA - 10th in the morning Oz time today.

Still get a bit chocked up every time I see him at 35 on the countdown video for NTUA at home games.

Can remember the week and day this happened was preparing for a footy grand final, and our whole side wore black arm bands for the young man the following Saturday and went onto win a flag, even our side who never knew J-Mac or anything and I was the only Port fan in the side it affected us all as we all loved to party after a game so made us all think that week. Can't believe that was 3 years, gone but never forgotten J-Mac. RIP champ
