Vale Keith McKenzie

Sad to read of the passing of Keith McKenzie. Any old farts like me who were around in the 60s and 70s would remember Keith. Club champion, coach and influential parson of his era. Probably more a Carlton man in the end. Was a long time partner with Barassi in business - from memory it was office furniture. My sympathies to all his family and friends.

Had a winning record in his playing days (67 wins from 130 games) which would have been rare for North players in our first 50 years.

Condolences to his family and friends.

One of the remaining links to the great sides of the late 40s and early 50s gone. I remember him as North's coach in the 60s, but he was also a great winger for North and played in the 1950 GF side. My mother's family lived in the same street as his family in Kensington many years ago.
Condolences to the family.
