To a degree I feel silly - with a full workload of University, Work and Footy, I have only now become aware of Lidge's unfortunate passing, not being on these boards in a while.

I just read the thread and thought Mr Reliable said it well, You certaily won Lidge!!!

I'm sure he would be chuffed at the sincere commemmorations from all Bigfooty posters and supporters. Well done.

My sincere and late condolences to Lidge's family. Rest in Peace.

He was a magnificent, larger than life, soul of the party, Shinboner to the core, type of person.

And it was completely out of the blue.

I have taken the liberty of collating a PDF of the thread - to the best of my ability.

Until I can find an appropriate server to post it on (it is a large file) I am sure my company won't mind wearing the bandwidth.

Some memento or copy of this thread would be great. Not so much for me but for Shane's wife and kids.

I scour through the posts every now and then & I hope I can always access it through big footy.

I look forward to seeing any North diehards in Adelaide next week. I will be sporting Mick Nolans long sleeve jumper from 1975 and will be with Lidge Jnr with Wellsy's number 8 on his back.
 
Why does it have to be unsticked? It will just be lost amongst the plethora of rubbish posted here every day.
