I would say the Roo Lounge will definitely become 'The Lidge Lounge'... whether the mods do it anyway I'm sure the overall vote would make it so.

Renaming, etc will happen. Shouldn't be far away.

I've just got off a plane from Singapore and Indonesia and just like many others here, am totally in shock

It is ridiculously ironic that I thought of Lidge a couple of days ago when I sat in Harrys Bar at Changi Airport, one of his favourite haunts.

Will be greatly missed. Very sad.

Lidge was the reason i registered on BF to join the push to keep put club, his impassioned posts resonating so strongly - met him once, at the London Tavern chatting to Tim Rogers

Told him i knew him as 'Booger', picking his nose on BF

Very very sad news ...

Whilst I do not stray away from the Tigers board often, the times I have been to Bay 13 and North Melbourne board, I have enjoyed the intelligent and thoughtful insights posted by Lidge.

Very sorry to hear this sad news. RIP Lidge.

I truly hope the boys get over the line for you tomorrow.

It was nice to see a tribute to Lidge in the back page of the Sport section in the AFL. Don't usually like Tony Jones, but it was a nice effort. It's really nice that others in the footy world are able to see the phenomenal effort Lidge put into the club/

The guys did a fantastic job after the match for you Lidgey, unfortunately the you know what sucked again and the on field guys couldn't kick straight as per usual and (Ringo - with a little help from some obvious friends - McLaren) stood in the way. But at least we haven't lost any ground, are still kicking arse and didn't lose the match.

I hope you enjoyed your first serious shower last night.

I just got back from the Gold Coast and haven't been on BF all week. Sifting through the posts, and I come accross this. Can't believe it. I never knew the guy, but it is sad when anyone passes away, especially unexpectedly.
