Very sad news.

With his memory, the work of Neale Daniher, one day hopefully very soon, we find a cure for this beast of a disease.
 
That's awful news. Very proud that the club worked so well in support though. Murray's last few months were hopefully better than they might have been.
Beautifully said Apples.

This is an example how a group of people (our club in this instance) can give comfort and heart to those stricken.
 
This f****** sucks, I wanted us to win the flag this year just for Murray. Damn it.

Always part of the Collingwood family.
 
Condolences to Murray's family. His fortitude in the face of a horrific illness was an inspiration to the players, and I was personally awestruck and humbled by it as well.

RIP mate.
 
Was easy to forget about Murray after Queens Birthday but was mentioned by Bucks/players during the finals campaign. Clearly a inspiration for Collingwood FC throughout the year.

Not Forgotten. RIP mate. Thoughts are with you and your family.
