Shane Warne dies suddenly in Thailand at 52 and no one is asking questions?

This is a Death in Paradise episode right out of the playbook.

I’d say people are mourning the fact that he passed away with such news being a shock given his age. The questions as to its circumstances will likely come later.

He had covid like a year ago.

Not a good year for him 2021. Had Covid in August. Was double vaccinated prior. Bad motorcycle accident in November.

His death happened on his first night in Thailand and therefore shortly after a flight.

The prolonged lack of physical movement and dehydration on an airplane may increase your risk of blood clots, including deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), or an arterial blood clot in the heart (heart attack) or brain (stroke).

Something ain't right here.
It's a reported suspect heart attack which can be by nature a very sudden event.

Either way, not the time to question.

More importantly, another legend is lost. Can't really believe it. RIP Warney....

Thailand raises questions, what is Warnie doing in Thailand? He's not commentating cricket there surely, it's youth beauty treatment gone wrong?

Warnie is so vain, looking to keep himself young and he paid the ultimate price.
Pull your head in

In a strange quirk of fate Warne passes away on Daryll Cullinan's birthday.

I don't think we'll ever see a cricketer ever be as wrecked as Cullinan was against Warne.

Oh wow , His nemesis passes away on his birthday, forever linked , Cullinan will be forever rubbing his rabbit foot so that a Warnie delivery doesn’t fall from the sky and bowl him over as he’s walking down the street

I Just wish Warnie would have stayed in Oz and watched and cheered on his Saints in the super box v The Dons tonight in Melb

Instead there will be a minute silence for him no doubt before the game

Horrible. Can barely believe it. Didn't always agree with him but can appreciate his energy and enthusiasm for the game and life itself. And a remarkable sportsman.

My greatest Warnie memory isnt even in his bowling...

He was asked about his approach to the game when things got tough. He said he would always look at the game as it was, but then consider how it would look if you took a couple of quick wickets. That 2/221 could be 4/223 in a good over. Its something thats stuck with me in life... as humans we often ask ourselves 'what if' bad things happen, but it takes courage to be positive and think 'what if' and imagine the best case scenarios of how things could turn around - often its simpler and faster than you might expect.

Absolute legend and one of the greatest Aussies of all time.

RIP. Hope you're taking wickets and catching flushes somewhere.

Yeah get on for a listen, some good memories...

There's some side links there too with their segments talking to Nicholas and Harmison, they both are totally devastated.

I was about to go to bed just before I saw the news and instead I've just spent the night up with tears in my eyes. He was my favourite cricketer as a kid. Hearing about Marsh's death was bad enough and he left us too soon as well but at the very least I guess you can say he had a pretty good innings that was cut just a bit short. Warne still had another good 25 years in him yet now he'll never get to see his kids grow up and they'll not have him in their lives either.

I completely agree with you bro exact same thing with me, I remember when he was interviewed about the pressure of sport and he said 99% of athletes would worry abou what could go wrong when the pressure was on, he wanted the ball if there was 1 run left and 5 wickets to take because he always thought what if I win this. =

And he wasn't just saying it. He truly was it. No matter what the situation he didn't think he (and his side) was out of the game and always thought he could get the better of the batsmen. Obviously wasn't always the case but had to admire the amazing competitive energy.
