What GPU do you have ?

gtx980 at 1080p. i know its older but it runs most AAA games on high at 50-60fps still

my mates with newer rigs don't have much better frames either

maybe something to do with our server idk I might try out a solo game later. it also got worse after an update

i guess its early access tho so can forgive not being optimized yet

yeah so i figured out its basically because our base is too huge. far away out in the wilderness i go to 60 frames but in the base it's like 5-15. hopefully they can optimize it more when there's lots of items on screen. it's like when you entered big towns on Morrowind lol framerate goes to nothing when having to load all the items. granted we do have some huge *en town going with like 10 buildings, but still, it would be nice if it was still 30+

Pretty sure half my crashing issues are related to the game shitting itself due to random Steam/AMD/Microsoft overlays, disabled a few of them and it lasted a lot longer.

I got to a point where I lost everything after finding myself in the middle of a bunch of animals that keep f**king me up, might have to start again

Just got this game on the weekend.

I've advanced to bronze but I haven't made a cool base in survival mode yet but just ******* around I made an awesome boat house on a test server using building cheats. Playing this game either way is highly addictive.

I was thinking I will probably end up setting up a main base and then an outpost in each biome.

I'm just curious for those with more experience, how important is it to make highly defensible bases for later in the campaign?
