Do you not log in to the PSN when your playing this?At some mission in the woods where I just have Welkin and Alicia, not easy.
I have a feeling that he's not going to answer you.Do you not log in to the PSN when your playing this?

Because I remember him saying he always keeps his PS3 connected to the net, and since you have to log into some account(Not necessarily online) to play games, his PSN id says it has been 17 days since he has logged in, so either he has an offline and online account(Which would be strange as you'd think you would want to be in contact with people on your friends list) or he doesn't have his PS3 connected to the net, which seems pointless as there are usually updates and such to download, and it's free anyway so there is no real reason not to be logged on.And even if he could reply...its a single player game so why would he?
It's just that it's not that hard to be logged in, just have the sign in set to auto, and have message notification off, and boom, no interference, and if you need to use online, you don't have to log in to do it, it's just there, I just find it strange that someone wouldn't be online, regardless of whether it is single-player or not. When i'm playing a single player game i don't log onto xbl either.
CBF responding to messages/chat requests every 10min while i'm trying to play
Usually I wouldn't give two shits, but KP is someone that always 'plays' these games, but rarely has anything to prove such a thing, thus Mancey labelling him with the conceptual gamer tag, I was just wondering if he actually plays these games or just bullshits his way through everything.Who cares if someone is online or not? Usually I will just stay online and turn that auto crap off cos it's freaking annoying when you are mid-game and someone comes online. But does it really matter?
Sometimes if I don't want to get an update and that time I just unplug the ethernet and then don't plug it back in for a while.

True, but as I said, it is so easy to be online(Even if your playing an offline game and don't want distractions) it would be stupid not to be, and especially when he claims he always has his PS3 connected to the internet I find it even more strange.Don't drag me into your fruitbat argument mate
He's never claimed to be much of a online console gamer tbh. Most of the games he favours seems to be offline single player types.
KP said:Hey, can you do me a favour and post in that Valkyria Chronicles thread...
That I only log in to PSN and XBL to download new stuff, like games, and that its he's so brainwashed by Sony marketing that he's taken to evaluating gamers by how many hours they spend logged in (for no reason), or how many new outfits they've purchased for their sackball on LBP.
Online console gaming sucks unless you like playing half-arsed FPS titles that are better on PC anyway.
That's the beautiful thing about VC, it feels like a throwback to a time when game companies actually tried new stuff and didn't care about co-op or multiplayer, or starting a 27 game franchise. It just feels like a good quality game that you can have fun with by yourself. If I don't feel the need to be logged in to the PSN to enjoy it (and don't even get me started on HBK's logic that it makes "perfect sense" to log in, even if you are playing a single player title, and have all your messages turned off) considering its a single player game.
Why would I bother unplugging my connection from the 360 and PC (I only have two outlets on my router and needed to download the expansion for GTA4), to plug it into the PS3, so that I can not use it?
More importantly, who the **** cares what my personal internet connection habits are?
Here you go HBK
Wow so many contradictions, the main reason why I initially put it up was because of the fact KP said he would never have his 360 connected to the net since he got rid of his XBL membership, this was the same thread in which he said he "ALWAYS" has his PS3 connected to the net, I'm just going on what you said KP.Here you go HBK

BTW Where abouts did I say that I evaluate gamers by the time they spend online??? And what does it have to do with Sony???
I have to say I love the BF mindset of myself buying all these costumes for LBP, when the fact is I have bought all of two costume packs(Both for about $3.45), and the other DLC I have bought for LBP was the MGS level pack, which introduced 5 brand new and fresh levels, not to mention a bunch of new creation tools.
It took me literally 5 seconds to make the post(The same amount of time it would take to switch a cable from the 360 to PS3 anyway) because I found it really quite strange that a 'gamer' like yourself KP is rarely logged onto his PS3 despite "Always" having his PS3 connected to the net.
I know that, but KP said he wouldn't have it connected, even for the Silver membership, which resulted in you replying(I think it was you) that he should have it connected because of patches.I think KP meant he wouldn't play online, but would be connected to the net to download
You always have an XBL membership, it's just silver (free - to d/l content, cannot play online except for a few games) or gold (paid - to play online)
You can't get rid of your XBL membership as such, you can just opt for the free silver to d/l content or gold to play online

My god you're a douche....
Read his post, he hooked up the 360 to download Lost and Damned (which is confirmed by his XBL gamercard having achievements for it). Bit hard to download it without connecting to internet.
He has 2 ports on his router, and simply hasn't reconnected the ps3 because he's been playing a single player game and hasn't needed too.
Seriously mate, why is this bothering you?
Do something constructive rather than search old threads for irrelevant info
Yeah I read that, I also read this "That I only log in to PSN and XBL to download new stuff", but when he says this "and I won't ever be connecting my 360 to the net again." I find it strange that he can contradict himself like that, I wasn't to initially know that he did reconnect to the XBL after stating he wouldn't, I now know, but I was posting first to the fact that he said he wouldn't even connect his 360 but would always have his PS3 connected, which is obviously not the truth. My god you're a douche....

You see that's the thing, it isn't bothering me, it was one little post, that turned into people responding, which in turn has me responding to them, that's why it would appear I am bothered, but I am not, I just found it strange after reading what he said and asked the question because of it.Seriously mate, why is this bothering you?
I am, I'm crying to myself right now about it.You seem pretty upset about this whole situation HBK.

You see that's the thing, it isn't bothering me,
