It is with a sad note that today we will close Valley Vision.
As of midnight tonight the 1/12/14 the service will be closed and the domain name sold.
I and all the people who have worked so hard to make this service a success wish you all well in the future and thank you all for your help and effort over the past 5 seasons.
To all the clubs who have gone out of their way to provide facilities and help to our camera operators we say THANKYOU.
We hope that in the future this service will be restarted under a new name and identity.

All Clubs,
As was decided at our recent AGM, the major expense of the Valley Vision Website product, to the league and its clubs was becoming a main concern and that alternative more cost effective options were to be explored.
Obviously, this cannot be done immediately and it takes time to organise other options that can be used to further develop our league. Unfortunately, our current supplier was not in a position to give us this time and the Valley Vision Website will be temporarily unavailable until further notice. The league is currently exploring all other avenues in regards to providing a similar product.
Please note that all consideration in regards to this product will definitely take into account the advantages of the product against the ongoing costs of the product and hopefully come to a decision that will still be of benefit to all parties.
Regards

Any update on Valley Vision? At the end of 2014 the homepage defaulted to a generic placeholder but I randomly checked the link tonight and it was back to the old format homepage and setup for round 1 2015???

As was discussed at the AGM in November the Board needed to address the large cost factor associated with providing our clubs with and promoting our league through Valley Vision. As clubs have indicated to us through their responses to a questionnaire before Christmas, Valley Vision was an important tool for them and that it was definitely a required product for the coming seasons. After considerable negotiation with our current provider and another provider over the last three months the Board has reached the following decision.

Valley Vision to provide footage of all Senior football and netball games as has previously been done. Under 18s will not be catered for in 2015.
