I never said I could prove the Crows exceeded the cap. I asked you what you thought was the intent behind paying Kurt in a brown paper bag and you dodged the question.

Why does what I think the intent may have been matter, it's completely irrelevant to reality.

They did those moronic things to hold onto Tippett an awkward pleb who couldn't handle attention and wanted to leave, I don't know why everyone involved thought that arbitrarily assigning what draft pick they would trade him for when they didn't know what his value would be in a few years was a good idea. Some ideas are too moronic to even consider but they decided it needed considering and being put in writing like a pack of simpletons with no trust whatsoever between them.

For the AFL to call what is purposely sabotaging your own chance of getting a higher pick then a round 2 draft tampering to me is reaching.
