Re: All Hail Nathan Van Berlo

Apparently he didnt even feel it, he was only informed of the injury when it was quite apparent his bone was jutting out of its joint. Apparently he just shrugged and walked back to the interchange gate ready to go again, unfortunately for him the siren went before he had a chance.

Yeah putting your body on the line infront of Mal Michael is soft.

Playing on for a few minutes with a fractured collarbone, getting another touch and being thrown into the ground after the incident is pretty soft.

One word.

Re: All Hail Nathan Van Berlo

Van Berlo has contacted the make up artists form the movie industry to create a look-alike that can take his place while he is on another mission.
He faked a serious injury to gain this alibi, and apparently has already left the country.

We may never know about this threat that he's responding to, but we can rest assured that the nation, neigh the WORLD is in good hands.

***Van Berlo In A Commeti-ism***

Port Adelaide having 18 men inside Hawthorn's attacking 40, Commeti told Dermott he could work out how far apart they were mathematically, and a minute after that, he asked Dermott if he had figured it out, and Dermott said nothing much and Dennis simply said, "get Van Berlo on the phone, he could work it out in a second".

Re: All Hail Nathan Van Berlo

In other news, The Brownlow Medal has been renamed the (Van) Berlow Medal, and awarded to Van Berlo every year for the rest of the history of AFL

Re: All Hail Nathan Van Berlo

Well now I got something to aim for, the Berlow Medal!

Can't wait to have a crack at it

Re: All Hail Nathan Van Berlo

Van Berlo out for 8-10 weeks.
As a result of the incident Mal Michael unfortunately died. If the impact was great enough for VB to be out for that long then poor Mal never stood a chance. He had a great career and led a full life. He will be sorely missed by all and I pass on my deepest condolences to his family.

Re: All Hail Nathan Van Berlo

The fact that Mal Michael wasn't listed on the "casualty list" confirms that Van Berlo is actually faking the injury so that he can save the world again incognito.

Re: All Hail Nathan Van Berlo

The injury is a ruse.
He will be hunting osama bin laden over the next 8 weeks, by special order from the UN.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Is this a sign??

Yes. We will have to do our best to keep it up there (the top) while the great man is off on his top secret mission.

Re: All Hail Nathan Van Berlo

I've just seen secret vision of the incident that caused the injury. Van Berlo's collar bone actually fell off after a collision and was trampled under the pack that formed. A few seconds later his shoulder blade came through his back and damaged tendons. This was all during the warm up before the game. With his collar bone powdered and shoulder blade lying on the ground, one Adelaide trainer suggested he should go to the bench to have it taped up...... After Van Berlo dealt with the trainer - he had a pretty good game until late in the final quarter his arm actually fell off, and was lost for some minutes while Van Berlo created the forward play that ended up sealing the game. Despite severe blood loss and his arm being kicked around by some despondant Brisbane players, the arm was re-attached later Saturday night before The Van Berlo went out hunting chicks.

He is only expected to miss 6 to 8 games.

Re: All Hail Nathan Van Berlo

Van Berlo wasn't happy that his thread was at the bottom of the page, so he used his psychic ability to tell me to post

if it had happened to any other player, they would have had to immediatley retire from AFL footy, unable to return from such an injury.....

Amputation would be the most likely outcome for anyone else.
