my young cousins plays junior footy with VB's little brother and i scored a kick to kick with vb himself late last year and he says he would love to play footy over here since his family is all over here but he did mention that The Crows have been very good to him and that he's really really enjoying playing footy with them... so who knows

An image I saw last year gave me hope he'll be more Johnson than Stenglein - and any pangs for home will come later rather than sooner.

After we secured the minor premiership at Subi there was a photo on the back of the sports section in the Mail that had Nathan in the rooms after the game with his younger brother and Dad - who were both decked out in Crows gear and beaming from ear to ear - which I found even more heartening given the opposition.

There's a split hair between the Johnson and Stenglein situations - one went back to Melbourne as a 24 year old with 104 games under his belt, and the other to Perth as a 24 year old with 106 games experience.

Fair play you're right, although Sugar was here for an extra year (I mistakenly thought it was 2-3 more).

VB plays the game very similarlt to Kane Johnson in his early days.
