Im 27, i've had one, I have private health cover so all I paid was the $200 excess.

No real side effects, for a few days you walk around like you have just gotten off a horse after a 2 day ride and it is a little tender but other than that nothing

How much are they usually?

Can't remember how much rJ but there something unsettling chatting with a nurse about cars while she's holding your sack and the smell of burning flesh wafts through the air as the doc cauterises your tubes.

It's also a bit embarrassing waddling through the waiting room and seeing the wry grins on the women's faces and the look of stark terror on the men's

I want one.

How much?

Any side effects?

Any of you have them?

etc.

I think by side effects you mean complications.

I'd imagine the main side effect or complication would be infection, im sure most people here have heard of Golden Staph. The bacteria Staphylococcus aureus is a natural bacteria found on up to 50% of the population. It is a normal bacteria to be found on the surface of the skin where it does no harm, however, when the skin is broken in some cases infection can result. It most healthy people however the immune system searchs and destroys the bacteria. However, in some rare cases it can cause infection.

Obviously, surgical procedures are performed in hospitals and these involve cutting the skin, therefore there is always a risk of infection. MRSA is a strain of Staph which is resistant to a certain strain of antibiotics and these are sometimes referred to as "superbugs". These can be treated with more powerful antibiotics.

That would be the main complication that could occur, the surgeon or GP will most likely give you a bit of a burst of antibiotics either during the operation. They also may issue you with some antibiotics but it is very important that you only take the antibiotics if you have an infection but the GP will advise you on this.

The main complication I know is the 3 mates of mine who had the big v and STILL managed to have kids!

Hard to say.

On one hand it would be good because the community would have less mouths to feed

but

On the other hand, we need to make sure we aren't being out numbered by the asian immigrants.

So in conclusion just force the asians and blacks to have them:thumbsu:
