I watched every episode of The New Adventures of Old Christine. It got pretty weird and creepy towards the end with the brother guy but it was solid for a while. She was amazing in that, it was a joke that she was supposed to be a fixer-upper aging beauty in the show.

Nah, I think you've misread that. The new president was putting on a show of being Latino, even though she'd only been living in New Mexico and was actually born in Ohio.

Yeah should be the ending, especially with Armando Ianucci well gone now. Americans don't know when to leave something on top though. The Latino president not being US born and the missing votes will open it up again though.

"I'm going to be remembered for being the first President since FDR to sit down when peeing". It has been a brilliant show and was way better than I expected.

Binged through the series after watching The Thick of It.

The 5th season without Iannucci seemed to turn the entire show into The Office but with politics, just went really broad. I don't know if it's for the better but the 5th season was definitely the funniest. Everything they did with Jonah was gold. Him and Richard.

Don't know what they'll do in the next season but with this ensemble they could make anything work (much like the last season of The Thick of It).

It's probably a big call considering the quality of the show, but I found today's episode one of the best ever. So many lines inappropriate, but soooooo funny!
