Clement was pushed out by Drum I think? The coaches we have had, massiveWoodside represent!
When my folks were building their first home on snob hill in Coolbellup, the builder called Mum and asked her if she really wanted the driveway painted blue and white.
Obviously I would much rather the FFC followed in the glorious footsteps of Old Easts and started accumulating flags like Buddy Franklin racked up pooney-o-tang, but the half-breed mongrel underdog nature of the club appeals to the contrary mongrel half-breed nature of me.
Purple Jesus is right. We are actually in a great spot compared to the days when a stressed Steven Koops admitted to me that the players were scared the punters would drop off and the club would just fold.
I used to look at all the James Clements of the world who dealt with the problem of Fremantle by wanting to leave it and I would think, "If you all simultaneously realised that you could change the problem, rather than flaking off, then there would be no problem."
I sincerely believe Brayshaw, Young, Serong, Darcy, Jackson, Walters, Cox, Ryan, Pearce, Amiss and Treacy want to be here and want to become immortal. There are probably more but these boys are the true believers with balls big enough to change the problem. That half of them come from elsewhere just adds to the genuine faith I have that the day for this dog is not far away.
And the main dude who made it possible for them to believe is Nathan *en Fyfe. Because kids all across Australia stuck a picture of him on their wall and wanted to be him when they kicked the pill down the park with their mates.
He vented about James Clement, it still counts...As far as "vent" posts go, this is unorthodox.

Eg - if we had played in a prelim this year, you think schultz would have a trade request in now? And risk missing out in a flag next year?
No chance.
Brilliant post.Woodside represent!

Brilliant post.
The measure of a club’s value is not reflected by the people who leave, but by the people who stay.
Fremantle Football Club is very rich indeed.
Nah I've been telling people this. We are on the same trajectory.does anyone else have this funny feeling the next grand final we play in our opponent will be carlton.
cause i do
It could be worse at the end of the day, we could still be giving Andrew Siegert games.
Lachlan “Deledio” SchulzTo the reigning premiers that are more than likely going to be challenging again? Yeah, he definitely would.
There are cigarette papers thicker than that argument. As Bruce Dawe would write, Devils, if not angels... etcHe vented about James Clement, it still counts...
No choice. I was a South's guy. Freo has hurt me so much it's hard to put it into words. Of course I would never choose them but I have them.If you could go back in time before you had a team to follow, knowing what we know would you pick Freo again?
The funny feeling isn’t the next opponent is Carlton, it’s the fact that you beleive Fremantle will be in a GF.does anyone else have this funny feeling the next grand final we play in our opponent will be carlton.

Our team hasn't changed a great deal but our list is going to be younger with Wilson, Hamling and Colyer gone. These trades just keeps the club rebuilding whilst Bell and Co says it’s 2025 flag or bust.
Getting younger every season.
Schultz and Henry out too. There’s nothing coming in as immediate cover for nearly all of these guysOur team hasn't changed a great deal but our list is going to be younger with Wilson, Hamling and Colyer gone.
Pick 70 says hi...Schultz and Henry out too. There’s nothing coming in as immediate cover for nearly all of these guys
