We were far better off when Brad Hardie and Kim Hagdorn and Sumich were tearing strips off us every week.

We showed more heart in games during our tail end of the Ross era. We showed more grunt in wooden spoon era games.

JL can’t motivate our players. Mark Harvey 2.0. Our leaders can’t motivate our players - we have some great talent and they lead by example. But when they can’t get going, who the **** else is there to go “come on lads, watch this and let’s **** some shit up”

Where are our Crowleys, DeBoers, Barlows, Carrs, Fyfes and all those other hard nosed mother*ers that would lead by example, but still * shit up, inspire and take some opposition players down with them?

This. 100%. Ross and the Steve's seemed like pricks. But they got results.

Fake news. Clearances don't win matches. Game plan wins matches. Why bring in a player who wins clearances, and contested ball? That's padding your stats if I've ever heard it.

Because this club ****ing blows.

I bet nothing else mattered the second Longmuir was gettable.

This club and the supporters have a long history of celebrating and romanticising over its history and past associates - whose minor forgettable successes in the grand scheme of the competition only live on in our sad minds.

This is why success will never come. FFC is mentally ****ed in the head with nepotism. We just give away jobs and opportunities to our friends, then just float around in irelevevancy - as nothing but a sustainable club that makes the AFL happy and nothing more - we will never be a serious organization that matures beyond that.

It's okay though we'll celebrate and our appetities will be satiated when we get Chris Mayne as our next Head Coach or when we flog Pavlich some gig when he inevitibly gets booted from the media. This supporter base doesn't need anything beyond that to be happy. Make Retro Round a thing every week to remember the good old shit days.
