We miss the finals and JL has to go.

What happened to Serong today? I have only been able to watch bits and pieces. 11 possessions is garbage.

He doesn't have the pace to break it. The players that are able to break tags generally have pace and/or strength and he doesn't really have either.

Its terrible how easy it is to get him with a tag. He has been a great clearance player. The tag shouldn't be able to stop that completely. Andy has been better than him this year by a long way. Really need Serong to find form through to the end of the year or we will struggle. He doesn't seem to be able to work to the 20 -24 touches when tagged. Baffling.
 
these two games against Sydney will cost us a home final. I get that we're young but it's depressing when we're down by a point in the last qtr and you can't get excited because you know we'll lose. Just like the Titanic's sinking, it's a mathematical certainty.

Getting comfortable with the concept of familiar heartbreak again - season certainly isn't done but our percentage is trash, and we are in a against-the-odds position again.

We've done a fair bit right which sucks. Footy is cruel.

Haha yeah I am not often here. Losing to the Swans twice this year hurts. Serong's form hurts. Our percentage means we can't finish on equal wins with the other teams pushing for the eight.

I remember when we moved to Cockburn they said they could change the ground dimensions to match any ground (or am I remembering incorrectly?). Question is the club actually utilising this? Any training reporters able to comment?

I agree with all this, and it's heartbreaking to watch the slow train wreck. But please visit the Optimism thread again in a few days for my sanity :)

I think the magic robe was too expensive in the end
 
Been pumped in clearances for weeks now without any apparent changes, if we don't fix this it doesn't really matter if we make finals or not. JL doesnt seem to make any changes in game until the damage is well and truly been done. His lack of game day tactical nous is really being found out.
