Possibly one of the worst games I've watched in a long while. Players clueless, coaches clueless, where's the inspiration and leadership. Nobody seemed to be playing their guts out. It's like we switched off as soon as it looked like Geelong were going to be tough to contend with.

Also not sure our backline is up to standard anymore. Pearce has been out a long time so can't fault him but Logue looks out of his depth sometimes. Ryan seems to have lost some of the do or die attitude he used to have. Really missing Cox at this point.

Alright gotta get this out of my system. Seems here is the best place to do it.

I see roughly the same posters posting in the gameday threads each week, win, lose or draw. Whether it be here or on the main board.

This narrative that some posters only post after a loss is, in a word, nonsense. And it’s an absolute indictment on this board that moderators are starting to become sucked into this confirmation bias.

People should be allowed to be critical of a product they pay for when it is underperforming. It’s a ****ed up world if you can’t.

Ryan hasn’t lost anything
Him and Darcy are holding the whole bloody team together!

I don’t know what the club thinks they are trying to prove by playing Fyfe but it’s a sick joke whatever it is . Wrap him up for 2021 , he’s done .
The unfortunate offshoot to this is that Tucker will probably stay in .
Ive seen enough of him this year , total liability.

5 - The bouncer who threw out the meatheads in front of us.
4 - The lady who makes the coffee at the Coffee Van - first class.
3 - The lady who sold me my Record. Very polite.
2 - The bus driver who got me home in one piece.
1 - Andrew Brayshaw

I don’t know how you positive guys do it, I’ve had extended leaves from footy because of how many times I’ve been let down by this club. I don’t want it to be but our performances this year are feeling like the nail in the coffin for me, seriously deflating stuff watching us not even be ******* competitive against any top 8 side bar the one upset we get a year. We are the next Carlton.
You wish we were Carlton - beat Freo twice. Convincingly

He's been shoehorned into a role that doesn't suit him - Ross Lyon style.
I personally don't think he has a role that suits him in a good side. Not clean enough inside, too slow and fielding kicking is suspect outside. Makes average decisions too.. a concoction of meh

Fyfe was fantastic last week though.

He copped a knock to the shoulder early in the game against Geelong.

FFS would you please at least make a token effort to stand up for your teammates. Show some pride in the jumper, show some respect for the supporters who back you.

Whoever decided that they should have a stand and clap during the first quarter deserves a bake, stupid stupid idea to interrupt the game in the first quarter with some clapping. No disrespect intended to Milli’s family and friends because I imagine it was the club’s idea. And it was a really dumb idea, epically stupid.

I’m feeling a bit jaded with the team to be honest. It just seems like one step forward, two steps back.
we need to get ruthless with average players in the end of season dealings.
There’s only a handful of guys that keep me interested now - that look like they care as much as the fans do, and can also actually football.

David mundy
Andrew Brayshaw
Nat Fyfe
Caleb Serong
Sean Darcy
Luke Ryan.

most of the others are either too young, not very good or look like the don’t really care too much.
Meh.

There's four games in recent memory I've chosen not to watch/stay to the end that I had previously committed the time to watch. I'll watch 100 point beatings in torrential rain, for no logical explanation, but some games are intolerable.

You can add this one to the list,

Fremantle vs Geelong, 15th of July 2021
Port Adelaide vs Fremantle, 30th of May 2021
Geelong vs Fremantle, 18th of August, 2018 (I was on holiday in Singapore)
Sydney vs Fremantle, 12th of August, 2017 (I was at the game and I left at halftime because I was in the Sydney members section and I was about to erupt)

Someone shot me down on here before for saying this, but I'll stand by this statement.

This current team is one of the hardest Fremantle teams to watch. Last season was a bit of nothing, a mickey mouse season that didn't have a lot of expectations.

But this season, wow, constantly disappointing. There have been significant periods within games where I feel justified in accusing the playing group of not trying hard enough when it is getting too difficult.. or at the very least an inability to halt momentum in games. The team is going into some games completely unprepared and the on-field leadership within games when a team is gaining ascendency is non-existent.

I feel the same , uninteresting football. Wins are nice , not fantastic.
Previous seasons watched replays of the games as soon as the game finished then multiple times thru the week. Have not watched a replay this season.
