So we made more mistakes than I saw?The camera work and the choice of shots was next level awful. The only benefit was it obscured some of our mistakes.
The first mistake was seeing any of it.So we made more mistakes than I saw?![]()
Wake me up next February, this season is clearly a write off
Not seriousNot sure if serious?

No. it was clearly a decade defining performance.Hold off your judgements one and all until the whips start cracking. When we hear the sonic boom, we'll see the Purple Blur.
Imagine if we had just Fogarty and Rachelle. What is depressing me is you look at the spread & talent of the Adelaide forwards with Tilthorpe, Fogarty, Himmelbeg, Rankine, Rachelle, McAdam & old man Walker & we can’t put out anything like that level of talent forward of Centre & they’re not even a particularly strong team by the standards of the comp.
For a team working up towards the business end of the ladder we’re severely underinvested in the attacking side of things.
It’s a scratch match but our mids were pathetic at times today.
And Erasmus can’t kick.
And Sturt still can’t get near it & was a liability the few times he had the ball.
I hope Pearce was just nervous first game as Captain because he looked clueless.
I’m not sure what we’ve been doing all summer but it would be nice to see some signs of remembering how to do football against Port because that was a debacle.

Erasmus hasn't been able to kick since the start. I know people have high hopes for him - but all I can remember from him AFL games was kicks with no depth, turnovers, and getting caught trying to do too much. Not great signs for a top 10 pick. Bit Blakely-esque. Hope he comes good. Have seen a lot better signs from Johnno tbh.Erasmus hasn't been able to kick since the start. Yep, anyone saying either will overtake Brodie by the end of this year is wearing some very purple tinted glasses, they will both get games this year but it’ll be at least a couple of years before they are preferred options in our engine room. Not great signs for a top 10 pick. This is the vent thread, peeps can vent freely in the vent threadAs long as some people have something to complain about, their lives are complete. Yes, I realise this is a vent about unnecessary venting. It was a meaningless scratch match - get over it!
