Second degree venting. Nice. I look forward to the inevitable 3rd degree venting from people venting about people venting about their venting. Usually happens after back to back losses when people try to add persepctive to the Vent thread

What is depressing me is you look at the spread & talent of the Adelaide forwards with Tilthorpe, Fogarty, Himmelbeg, Rankine, Rachelle, McAdam & old man Walker & we can’t put out anything like that level of talent forward of Centre & they’re not even a particularly strong team by the standards of the comp.

For a team working up towards the business end of the ladder we’re severely underinvested in the attacking side of things.

It’s a scratch match but our mids were pathetic at times today.

And Erasmus can’t kick.

And Sturt still can’t get near it & was a liability the few times he had the ball.

I hope Pearce was just nervous first game as Captain because he looked clueless.

I’m not sure what we’ve been doing all summer but it would be nice to see some signs of remembering how to do football against Port because that was a debacle.

I believe the phrase is 'Sports Entertainment' - The scratchie barely covered the first part, and as for the second... I mean after the 8th Thilthorpe goal I was kind of waiting for the boys to start running around the oval en masse, waving their hands and cupping their ears before going on an improbable 25 goal run and staggering from the field to go speak to Mean Gene. So yeah, I understand why people are feeling flat.

I'd like to vent about the number of emails they are sending out at the moment. A minor vent and I can always unsubscribe, but just too many.

I hardly ever read them anyway. The ones that give you info about captaincy and trades etc are fine. But all those merchandise ones...geez.

Plus who wants to read a match report about a 60 point flogging?

Venting at the first scratchy is not the answer. You need to bottle it all up inside and compress as much in there as possible. Just squeeze your rage into a bitter little ball and release it at an appropriate time.
