I could even forgive it if it was an anomaly. If we'd generally competed well in most of our games against the better sides this year it would be easier to write today off as a by-product of circumstance. As it stands, the consistent folding against any sort of decent opposition is becoming a big problem for Longmuir. AFAIK pretty much every other developing side in the bottom half of the table have been able to more consistently perform against the better sides.

As much as it’s not all about winning
That is a great thing you are getting to do with your grand kids so enjoy it .
All we can hope is that in a couple of years these young players start gelling as a team and we turn the corner.
Until then enjoy the hugs mate because they won’t always be there .

Supported this club since 95 but quite honestly I'm on the verge of giving up. At least when we were a basket case back in the late 90s, early 2000s we could pull out some exciting moments and you kind of knew that you were shit. But there's no excuse for how things are these days. Not in this super professional era. We're boring, we're soft and we have no game plans.

We're just a crap club from top to bottom. No one is fighting. Not the players on the field, the coaches all seem meek, no pun intended, and no one from the club ever comes and says anything. We have no media friends who go into bat for us.
The club needs a line in the sand moment. I don't know what it is be we just seem to be the same washed out grey week in week out.
We move the ball the same way out of the backline as we did 15 years ago. Be it forward or defence, all our players fly for the ball leaving no one on the ground. It's been the same crap since forever.

He does enough to make people think he’s good but he doesn’t lead and he never ever lets others have space. Watch the Darcy mark when he had a smaller opponent, was obviously his contest yet here comes dumb **** Tabs. Lucky he was too shit to actually hit the contest on this occasion. We will never go anywhere with Tabs as our focal point.

Yeah that's fair. Unless your ankle is broken you at least make a token attempt to get up and smother after your horrendous mistake if you have any sort of competitive spirit.
