Hilarious how his DH friend comes onto this board too after the game questioning supporter loyalty.
 
Leagues all around the world don’t often trade/transfer to other clubs to benefit that club and handicap their own.
Basically given Melbourne the future whilst still contending, for a player that’s not even a need nor even good. Astounding.
Gave Acres, a wing position Carlton desperately needed, to a top 8/top 4 side that takes our spot. ****ing incredible.
Gave North a mature KPD that will develop the team whilst cutting our depth. Stupidity.
 
I don't get it, we have two key forwards in Amiss and treacy to develop yet we drop them THE FIRST MOMENT THEY HAVE A BAD GAME.

HOW THE **** DO YOU EXPECT A PLAYER TO DEVELOP IN THE AFL IF YOU DON'T GIVE THEM THE CHANCE TO DO SO. THEY'RE GOING TO HAVE BAD GAMES, THEY'RE ****ING KIDS FOR CHRIST SAKE. GIVE THEM A LITTLE CONSISTENCY FOR **** SAKE.

AMISS, TREACY AND STURT SHOULD BE IN THE TEAM EVERY SINGLE ****ING WEEK. IT'S NOT DIFFICULT TO DEVELOP FORWARDS IF YOU ACTUALLY GIVE THEM THE GAMES.

& treacy didnt get to play a game of footy on the weekend & if he doesnt get selected this week it will be 2 weeks as peel dont have a game this coming weekend. Not great for his development
 
We currently 4 players in the top 10 for marks taken over the first two rounds and guess where they all play.

At number 1. Is Brennan cox 2. Luke ryan At number 4. Hayden young and 8. Jordan Clark

This game plan is making me sick how did the coaches get it so wrong.

He obviously has no control over the game style. Time for some harsh home truths JLos way from Belly. We are done for 2023, just trying to best west coast on the final ladder our only challenge from here.

Just seen the released “arc footage” had doctored delayed audio compared to the broadcast

There’s a side to side comparison and if you watch the doctored release the audio doesn’t sync with the umpires mouths but the broadcast does so it’s not a broadcast issue

He was a disgrace - only out is if he's carrying an injury, then that's on match committee for playing him when we have Unicorn back up.

He does not look AFL fit, was slow getting to contests and isn't connecting with his mids.

He basically has a free dinner this week against West Coast, if he can't dine out on Bailey Williams, he's gone backward at a rate of knots.

He's also involved with trades and list management. What he did over the last off-season (and others) is extremely questionable.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is heavily involved with team selection as well, it's the only explanation for playing so many short players who aren't built like tanks or have explosive speed/leap (i.e. players like himself).
 
Bell:
  • Been involved in club as player, captain, board member, list manager, footy manager.
  • Plenty of influence over a long time, seemingly no accountability.
  • Coach recruitment and management (poor to average)
  • Trades and list management (poor to good, good is starting to seem like luck rather than skill)
  • When he speaks publicly with players and staff seems to lack rapport with them, aloof.
Give him the boot at the end of the season, he is not suitable for the role.

Yeah just pick and choose what he has brought to the club to push your narrative. We have generally been very successful for every trade period from 2018 to 2021 and we took a massive gamble last year. We won't know if it has paid off for years to come. The only valid complaint against Bell is that he has allowed a 'boys club' amongst the staff.

People expect us to repeat last year and better it. That is why they are not playing.

We’re just tripping over our own feet constantly. Replace our defensive, conservative coach with a coach who’s even more defensive and conservative, just less charismatic.
Draft a good group of young players during a rebuild who could grow together but hold ourselves back with horrible trades.
Never draft forwards, full stop. But the odd forward we do draft, we don’t give them games ahead of honest triers who aren’t actually forwards.

We don’t have a period in our history where all of our drafting, trading, coaching, and playing group are aligned in terms of being run at a level of competence.
 
Belly will be at north next year. Guarantee it.
We had the same pre season the weags had last year by the looks. Slow, unfit and deplorable skills. They got something terribly wrong.

The first year was exciting, 2006 was surprisingly good, 2010 was encouraging, 2012 and 13 were fun, 2014 was kind of good, we were winning but not pretty and 2022 was good. I’ve probably missed a few moments there, and you may not entirely agree with this summary but you get my point.
I thought at the end of last year we could trust this group and allowed myself to get excited over the summer. What now?

It must be pretty easy to say "We're hurting with you" when they are getting paid 100's of thousands of dollars to dish up this tripe.
