think he came out with being one of our 'most efficient'. but I think that reflects him playing too cautiously?Exactly. My point was about teaching him work rate which he doesn't have.

Been awhile since he had a really strong game. When was the last time switkowski had a good game? He’s never been a stats player but even in the winning run he had 0 impact
Not making the distance from 35 was embarrassingHe's a forward in theory only. Getting real tired of these 'pressure forwards' around the league who don't actually kick goals. You ain't a forward if you can't hit the scoreboard mate.
Would Geelong, Suns, etc be saying its a waste of a season and they're not making finals, they are 1 game out of the 8 like us.Don't really care about the fight back tbh, we just lost at home against a s**t football team.
Finals are pretty much gone now you'd think, what a ****ing waste of a season.
If they can't get the wet weather game together fast then they're not serious about winning a premiership, just ****ing fix it
Who got Richmond's first goal and who was his direct opponent, yes Henry. If you watch him around stoppages he actually just wanders around, hardly ever picks up a man and just occupies space. I would rather play Draper at the moment instead of Henry.I still think lil bro is closer to getting delisted then getting another contract. Bloke just has no real strengths to his game.
Losing at home to a bottom 4 team. So freo
Port and well and truly above the rest of the pack. Anyone can see that. Yet they only just got over Richmond by 7 points. Richmond have been playing a lot better recently.Lol, I know this is the melt thread, but no way Richmond are a bottow 4 team. They're very much contending for those bottom final spots with us.
Maybe if our posters watched other games and gave other teams the credit they deserved we wouldn't need to melt as often.
did you think that when we played Geelong and Melbourne?Disappointing outcome and in a real pressure game the usual suspects emerge, We are no where near a good hard team .Players who can't handle the big time Banfield ,Walker Sturt , Fredricks,Henry are just wafl players and are all found wanting when the tough get going
Yeah that was champagne WAFL from him.Who got Richmond's first goal and who was his direct opponent, yes Henry. If you watch him around stoppages he actually just wanders around, hardly ever picks up a man and just occupies space. I would rather play Draper at the moment instead of Henry.
Surely not. But losing should win games is still annoying. Losing to top 4 or close would probably be ok for most. Can’t win them all venters!!!
Saying Walters would have changed the result is laughable, hes far past his prime and probably in the last or 2nd last year of his career. We still would have lost. The Walters sub thing is so frustrating. I swear since that bloody sub rule came in it’s just handed conservative coaches like JL an even bigger excuse to sit on the fence at selection time.
Let’s be clear on some things here
- Walters is either fit or he’s not. He had a calf injury. Now, his calf has not just “healed” enough to play one and a half quarters, but not 4.
If he was fit to play a quarter, he was fit to play 4.
- is Sonny in the best 6 forwards at the club? Of ******* course he is!
- NEVER EVER should Michael Walters be the sub again!!!
- I’m convinced if he’d been on the field in the opening quarter we’d have more than 9 points on the board.
- that’s now two winnable games we have dropped this year at home while sonny spent most of the game in the stands watching inferior players battling away to try impact their scoreboard.
- not good enough by the MC.
Yes Tigers have been going much better since Hardwick left which is very interesting.Port and well and truly above the rest of the pack. Anyone can see that. Yet they only just got over Richmond by 7 points. Richmond have been playing a lot better recently.
Exactly. My point was about teaching him work rate which he doesn't have.
Henry definitely does look better with ball in hand more composed unfortunately I think Henry just isnt a good enough runner for AFL doesnt seem over quick or have elite endurance? How were his stats at the testing?
Walters is going at close to 2 goals a game this year and that includes two games as sub. He absolutely could have changed the result. We lost by three goals and dominated the start of the game with nothing to show for it. I’m sure if sonny was there we would have had at least a couple more. Hasn’t missed a set shot all year.Saying Walters would have changed the result is laughable, hes far past his prime and probably in the last or 2nd last year of his career. We still would have lost.
He did two good things all game.Kicking a crucial goal from the boundary isn't up to it at AFL level?
The Dash through the centre and slicing kick to set up an Amiss goal isn't up to it?
Yeah ok mate
I hope it’s the later. Signed on till the end of 2025.Saying Walters would have changed the result is laughable, hes far past his prime and probably in the last or 2nd last year of his career. We still would have lost.
Completely missing the point. Is he in the best 22 or is he not?Saying Walters would have changed the result is laughable, hes far past his prime and probably in the last or 2nd last year of his career. We still would have lost.
