Oops I forgot one:
  • Myself for never bringing in the correct number of bags I need. Despite always underestimating how many I'll need and then having to perform some advanced game of tetris, eventually resorting to just squishing it all in and dealing with the consequences of bruised and battered fruit and veg later... I never ever learn my lesson. "Nah I don't need to bring in all 5 from my car. I'm only doing a small shop, 1 should be more than enough". You ****ing idiot!

  • People who are rude to the young retail staff. It’s not their fault the shop doesn’t have a size 18 of that on-sale moo moo you want to pair with those Kmart rip-off Uggs you live in.   • Groups or families who walk through a shopping centre spanned across the mall at a snail’s pace, stopping the movement of everyone who isn’t just there for a leisurely stroll. Shops don’t need pace cars thanks.
  • Those who blatantly steal. Yes times are tough but was that guy who just walked out with a 30 pack of Cokes the other day not going to survive without them? Please seek help from one of the many food banks and related charities if you need it.
  • People who like to block off an aisle in a supermarket to have a critically important conversation. It’s ok I’ll just wait to get through while you over explain every detail about why your life is so tough at the moment to your ‘friend’ whose face clearly says they don’t give a shit.
  • ****ing shelf stackers. What the heck happened to doing this overnight when the shops were closed? I get that it is a really boring job but:
    • is there a way you can do it without blocking off the entire aisle? Maybe keep that giant trolley on the same side of the aisle you are stacking?
    • when someone clearly wants something where you are stacking, could you have the awareness to pause and let them get what they want? But if they are rude, then **** them and feel free to take your time.
    • you do know you can actually buy and use some of the items you stack? How about starting with the deodorant aisle? Wow, that BO smell can sometimes be other worldly and permeate an entire supermarket. Shops shouldn’t smell like a footy change room.
    • revert back to night stacking as it solves all the above problems (disclaimer: I have no idea of the logistics of this and happy to be called out as an old man yelling at clouds on this one)
  • Shops who put sale tags on half their products when they aren’t really on sale. It’s not really “on sale” if you just double the original price and then claim you are selling it for 50% off. It’s this unethical shit that makes customers go exclusively online where they can compare prices and find the same item for a tenth of the price on Temu.
  • Yoga mums dressed in their exercise garb everyday mostly just for school drop offs who love to judge other people’s shopping trolleys. People can buy whatever the **** they like with their own money. You wouldn’t know about that because you spend your days sipping coconut milk double shot decaf dirty chai lattes and gossiping with the other mums about whichever mum isn’t there at the time.

My wife always sends me to pick up the click and collect knowing full well I only have 3 bags (and one of them is torn to shreds) to her 10.

It's always a delicate drive home with a weeks worth of groceries rolling around on my back seat.

Personally I'm quite enjoying the catharthis of unwinding in the vent thread when there is not much football related to be melting about. It beats the groundhog day feeling in pretty much every other thread atm.

I hate my new neighbours.
Playing doof at 830 in the morning when I come off nightshift.
Wakes the baby up 3 doors down. It's ****ing loud.
V8 back & forth.
2 Pitbulls that never get taken for a walk & bark everytime I walk up my driveway.
They turned the best cul-de-sac in WA to a shit show.

Spoke to them half a dozen times in a very respectful manner.
The 7th time not so respectful.

Now when they get Noisy, I put a party speaker, 140 off FB buy & sell, out the back next to the fence & get my nice neighbours to pick the playlist..🤣🤣🤣

One of the great things about the off season is that we don’t have to hear or read this absolute ******** Gossages shit takes on our players.
