6 day breaks aint a problem guys. Its the 5 dayers that become difficult. Relax.
I think last year we played GWS away and it was 9 days us into 5 days them and we overpowered them late from memory and it really kick started our roll

We only remember the times we gets ****ed not the times we do the ****ing

I think people's problem yesterday was him doing it while having a pretty quiet/average game.
I think he uses it to try to get into the game. Stay fired up, stay aggressive. I didn't like some of his antics, but I'm very happy to take the rough with the smooth, especially if over the season he's a high performer

Is it bad that I enjoyed it? Especially the carrying of a Melbourne player

I think it's also pertinent that in that example of us being on the positive end of the ledger (which definitely seems lopsided anyway) that the offended team in this instance was also a smaller non-Victorian team.

It's also very funny that we get riled up about short breaks when they almost always mean we are playing in a prime-time slot.
It's moreso that our opponents during these short breaks seem to either be getting regular or long breaks, rather than being in the same boat as us.

I just can't ... How is this something that the MRO cares about?

I can see an argument - barely - that Voss deserved a fine from that game, but if he did, it'd be for carrying Langdon around, not for rubbing his own eyes as a part of a taunt. The Langdon thing worked out OK because of the timing (after the game was already decided), and because Langdon laughed it off, but to me it's the one clearly more likely "to instigate a melee or retaliatory action".
If it wasn’t for the VIC media nothing would have been said

So are we gonna see the actual rules that have changed somewhere?

The 2026 laws of the game 4 weeks into the season do not reflect the rule changes.

The only reference points we really have is this article:

And the rules for last disposal out of bounds and shrugging are being umpired significantly differently to how it is outlined in the above article.

Last disposal is being paid regardless of players blocking or letting the ball go out, and whilst shrugging is being called high far less it's certainly not being considered prior opportunity.

I really really hope this is information that has been shared with all clubs in far more details than has been released to the fans and general public.

The main rule change in 2026 as far as I can see is the mandate that Victorian clubs be favoured by the whistle at every possible opportunity.

I mean, it's always been the unofficial rule anyway, but it seems more blatant than ever this year.

25-13, but I will say Geelong had a lot more ball
