See I was right! Watch this space. Hall to Cats

There are two things that sum up the dismal Handbaggers Franchise:
1-they always get what they want because they are Entitled to it.
2-they always dismally underperform no matter how strong their list is.

Hall will fit in well down there.

I highly doubt Geelong would want him. Very unlikely. Smith will probably be at Southport Sharks in 2020.

Ouch brutal but 100% true can't argue with that

I’m very interested to know what other suns fans view is, with the “state of the game” at the moment.

Obviously we all want the suns to win every game and would be disappointed when they lose, however as long as it’s good visual game I’m content. Personally over the last 5 years I found my interest in the game passing due to the maul, however do suns fans actually care with the “state of the game” or just care about the suns results?

The game in my eyes has lost the flare of the footballer to the running power of the athlete. Combine this with 7 plus years of woeful football from our club and my overall interest in the game is floundering, I don’t watch anything but Suns games these days, including AFL360 and on the couch which used to be staple viewing.

It is the ability to share my frustration and opinion with you fine people that is the best part of my interest in the game ATM

Totally agree. Used to absolutely love watching the footy at Moorabbin in the 80s and 90s. Always one on one contests and players stayed in their positional 'zones' more or less.
I hate the maul.

I think the AFL will bring in a 16 + 2 player zone where 2 defenders and 2 attackers from each team must remain inside 50 at all times. They have been trialling it during bye rounds at Hawthorn and Brisbane (that I know of) and it will see less congestion and a better brand of footy.

I have to comment on the Harris Andrews incident because I believe it highlights a blemish on the game. Cameron has deadset poleaxed Andrews in the 1st Quarter and cost Brisbane the game. The Lions had to play a man down on the bench and missed their key defender all game. Where is the penalty for GWS? Sure, Cameron will get a suspension. I haven't seen an angle that would have any other result. But that only benefits the next team/s that GWS face.

A red card would have squared the ledger and made for a better game of footy. A red card if AFL would mean playing with 17 men, it would just put Cameron on the bench for the duration and even out the number of players available for GWS. Video replays could be used to ensure the call was the right one. A yellow card could also be used to sideline a player for a whole quarter, but again that player could at least be replaced.

And it doesn't disadvantage GWS to the same degree that it disadvantaged Brisbane even
They go into the game with a selected 22
Maybe they should be forced to play with 21 players for the duration of the suspension?

Ps. don't agree with that.. just talking out loud

Did anyone hear what he said - highly inappropriate was an understatement. I'm not a PC type guy but I wouldn't have even thought to say what he said on live radio.

Rocket's boy

Gotta feel for parents traveling to the footy with the kids in the back seat listening to that and having to explain what they just heard

What did he say?

I'll quote a tweet that someone sent me:

"Leigh Montagna was talking about his wife and going into labour and how she was having a sweep... He basically said it'd be bad if the doc put 2 fingers up her and licked his fingers"

Hope I don't get a red card for relaying 2nd hand info
