I’m at the back end of my life and put so much into all the codes since 1988 in money and passion, coaching and effort and there’s no home final for my little girl and I and worse than that a huge opportunity just pissed away.

Let alone ever win a GF…that’s a joke.

The hubris and cockiness when you have not achieved a thing and been warned I can’t take.

I'm sure it's tolerated because you are an iconic and much loved member of this board but every time I see the Titans Newz thread it reminds me of a homeless camp in a nice neighbourhood

I guess I’ll take the backhand compliment.
Anyway where my members seats are the people around me are very civilised.
I don’t hear any F or C bombs or racial or homophobic stuff..
That’s all I can give you..

I wouldn’t expose my daughter to things like that. But I guess my seats whilst they aren’t premium are not cheap either.

I wasn't going to respond to this but I think this is a crucial point in time for us as a fanbase so...

I get that you were disappointed about the prospect of a home final dissipating earlier today, but I reckon now is the time for us all to collectively get behind our boys + focus on the positives + believe that something great is possible, as opposed to almost wishing a 'curse' into existence by constantly referencing it. It's okay to disagree with a social post and I understand your hesitation surrounding others discussing possible outcomes of opposition results, but pushing a narrative that they've somehow cursed us into guaranteed failure isn't very productive for any of us on the eve of finals.

Can we just put the curse theories away for a few weeks and try to enjoy our first ever foray into finals without constantly thinking something is conspiring against us? There will be plenty of time to share those thoughts in the off season.

Spot on this - jumping on here to whinge that the boys playing didn’t have the right attitude, or there’s a curse or whatever another whiny nonsense, does nothing.

Almost all the players at the club will be dying to play finals, from the Swallows and Millers to the new kids and back room staff. Let’s do what we’re supposed to do, support the heck out of the team and let’s go punch our finals ticket Wednesday!

The overriding theme of what I’m trying to educate people on who haven’t suffered the full GC sporting history in every code from Basketball to Soccer is thus

You use the lol response SS style to be rude towards me and your posts at me are very personal.
I noticed the mods let you do a personal attack on me go through to the keeper.
Further infractions will see you blocked.
Act how you would if you were face to face with me when typing away.

That’s why I love and respect GC15. We are polar opposites but anything he writes at me I would cop and laugh with him if said in person.

Been driving from Central Australia > Adelaide > Gold Coast so have not been at full attention. So sorry if I missed it, but the only reported post I have seen come through is this one ^

Can you tell me which post you reported which was due for moderation?

No I decided to handle it myself. The “you have no clue” one put him on thin ice and then the “champ” one left me in no doubt that he’s not worthy of my discourse.

Well you best be advised to not keep taking shots at our moderating if you can't be bothered reporting to let us know in the first place. It's like you were disappointed to find out that the 'Anti-bods club' was not a thing, so you are doing your best to make it happen
